![]() I just reached level 60, and am looking for a good place to solo. My first concern is getting better gear, second is XP. I have done all of the TT repeatable quests to their maximums. My armor is very sub par, my jewelry is decent. Most of my spells are App 3. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

![]() Ok, first is that apprentice 3? (app3) or is that adept 3? What I did from about 60 - 63 was grind on the drakotas (the ^ ones ranging from 60-61) at the cloud thingy-majiggy at the beginning of the breeding grounds in TT. With adventure vit I was getting decent xp if I kept on the move. Using the Aery hunter/offensive stance I could cycle my pulls. Turn off your pets auto-attack/defend and body pull one at a time. Use blazing presence on the first one, HO, Snapping Mandibles, AoE, Fire DoT (the name escapes me), finish HO. Heal pet as needed. First pull : Blazing presence, send in pet, HO, Snapping Mandibles, AoE (any should do, I like calcify, saves my pet some health), Fire DoT (the name evades me) finish HO, Heal Pet, Start HO again. At this point the drakota should be dead or close enough to not matter. Second Pull : Bring target into the clearing, Cast Dumbfire (doesn't matter which)/Send in pet, HO, Snapping Mandibles, AoE (Calcify or Seism), Fire DoT, finish HO, Heal pet, start HO again. Same as above, should almost be dead. Third Pull: Same as second just use the next dumbfire. You can clear good xp especially when you get a rythm going and you can make about a plat or more an hour if you stay steady at it. Get good food and drink (I'm partial to Bosprites Muffins / Wine). If you have a buddy that you duo with it goes that much faster. Edit: If you're on Everfrost you can send me a tell. Make sure you've done all the Marr/Froglok repeatables off of the waterfall (good coin/faction/xp). Otherwise check out the other isles and find something with a decent con that you can take without to much effort. Message Edited by Gastrocnemius on 11-07-2006 02:50 PM |

![]() Sorry about that, I have adept 3's not app 3's. One of my guild mates gave me a hard time about my armor, as I think my best piece is a level 25 Robe, and level 60... I will try the islands listed. Thank you! |

![]() as far as gear goes, you can quest some pretty good stuff. A secondary from the claymore line (Shield of Bylze), a primary from Grizzlefazzles Errands (Grizzlefazzles Walking stick), boots from the HQ Saving Soles, a hat from Eye for Power, another hat from Blood of the Brood (Hoo'Loh Hat) pants that you can make (Hoo'luk imbued pants), belt from HQ (+int girdle thingy majiggy), a ring from claymore series, many many different robes (such as nest's fabled robe), so on and so forth. There is alot of gear to be quested, and what you don't get as a reward or drop you can buy with the plat you saved. Hope that helps a bit more :smileyhappy: |
