lo all, i reached lvl 30 this morning and am loving it, its good to take a rest from taunting and having a lvl 70 bru and zerk thats all i seem to be doing.
my question is this, i have aquired the lvl 32 scout pet as master 1 and the lvl 34 mage pet as adept 3 which in your opinion would do the most damage in a grp set up? also is the master1 scout pet good enough to solo?

Earth pet - your tank pet, good solo for monsters that are very tough or in groups where you need a tank.Fire pet - mage pet, does very good damage(more than you), but can take a bit to wind up since spells take a bit of time to cast. Good for raids or against monsters that AE alot since it stays near you. Can also be good for soloing against weaker things or stuff you want to root and nuke.Air pet - scout pet, goes very good damage and gets into the fight quickly. Best DPS pet in groups where the fights aren't taking a long time to finish. So your master 1 air pet would be the clear choice for groups, unless the fights are taking a long time or if he's dying to AE.

Since you have the Master1, might as well take advantage of it. Air pet in group settings for you.

Depends on what you are doing and where your doing it.

The scout pet is by and large a single target dammage dealer,  the mage pet is mostly AoE dammage.

By and large if your facing mostly group encounters the mage pet is better, but if it's mostly 1 mob encounters the mage pet is a waste.

Just be aware that like you the mage pet has a PBAoE (blue background spell) that it likes to use that will nail any mob in its encounter area of effect. So if your in an area that you either dont dare use yours,or have mobs that are non agro to you,  dont use the mage pet.

Other than that make sure you have read the FAQ sticky at the top of the forums, it is a wealth of info about how the conjuror class works.

Hope this helps.

To include which pet on which encounter type make sure your tank has upgraded taunts (which you already know cause yer a tank).
And ummm.... i'm at 54 and still learning cause i'm noob that way!!!

I agree using the air pet on mainly ^^^ mobs a few higher levels will get you more dps with scout pet. But if your facing a bunch of down arrows or ^^ and you send in the mage pet, change its damage number color and you'll see so much pop up on the encounter so often.
