Hmm after that removal of junk from vendors update i can't seem to buy pearls in my home town (Starcrest) or Qeynos Harbour. Have i Just missed them or is there somewhere else nearby i can get em from now?

Check the spell vendors in QH. They sell them now.

Seriously, try the search function once in a while. There is a thread with exactly the same name, even on the very first page of the thread listing here. So a search wouldn't have been required in this case ...
