Soloing Hwal's Grandfather

As part of "These Boots Were Made For..." quest I've been trying to bring down Hwal's grandfather, so far quite unsuccessfully solo. I'm 25, he's 25 heroic ^^. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I need to address my gear and tactics.

This is normal. Heroics (especially even-con) are not meant to be soloable until they are trivial.My advice: get a group, or at least a healer to duo with.

You shouldn't be able to solo an even con ^^. Green ^^ sure, blue ^^ sometimes, depending on the MoB, but even? With awesome gear, I've only been able to solo even ^^ at the lower levels. I have a hard time with most green ^^ now, due to the massive amount of HP a lot of them have.

I wooped on Hwal's grandpa at 32, I just let my pet beat him up.
