Charms for sell...

Has anyone seen the new items on the city merchants? I was looking through them and was very suprised to see 9 different purchasable charms for sell. The charms were one charge but would last 30 minutes! They were species specific but provided the charm target with increased power and health regeneration. I just wanted to point this out to people. One of the main reasons why I created a coecer was because I wanted to be able to coecerce things into doing my bidding. Now it seems this ability can be purchased for 1g and the status of 2 writs if you are in the guild of the right level.It will be interesting to see if these charms work better than are actual charm spells. :smileyindifferent:

I didnt realze there were any "charm" ones.. I saw master type strikes and resists, cures, ect...

I am completely lost here on what your saying about buying charms? Please explain into further detail? Where to buy what it is and does it break quite confused ty?

Apparently, if you have the right status and some loose change, you can buy a race/species specific charm spell that goes 30 minutes with no recheck. Compare to Coercer that requires 3 conc, breaks randomly, and will not go the full Duration with an even con pet. I'll have to see this myself.Nonetheless, if its true...Twist the knife a little HARDER Sony, some Coercers still havne't cancelled in disgust.

I don't think i'll ever cancel but I do get disgusted sometimes with SoE but none the less I would like to find out where to buy this charm for sell thing that doesn't break and lasts 30 minutes cause it would be pretty sick with our reactives and especially considering mines master2 complimented by a master 1 Spell Whip!Befallen - Manyaks - 52 Coercer - Clan of ShadowsBefallen - Mario - 37 Palladin

Wait are you telling me anyone can buy these? also there gender specific for people to buy and charm doesnt break? also WHERE do you buy them? Cause if they can be bought by anyone you really might as well cancel coercers out of the game literally i said i would never cancel EQ2 but if this is the caseI may just quit, this really will have tipped the charts

Goto your city merchant, you should know which one if you are in a guild. It is the one that lets you buy guild items for status and coin. Look at the list, on the list will be a series of charms for specific races as mentioned above. Looks like you just have to be in a high guild and minimum level 47 now to be able to charm creatures. It costs 1g and 12000 status points and lasts 30 minutes. 12000 status points is what you get out of doing 2 writs which can be done rather quickly.

Just started a coercer on PvP because I hear it's a challenging class to play. Not too happy to hear what I have to look forward to - but I think I'm going to stick it out.

Heh- if I finally get to the appropriate level, wouldn't it outright suck if I have start buying those charms to use versus our charm spell just to get good results?

Oh well- hopefully things will get better by that time.

Huge suggestion really recommended and it will save you a lot of grief become an illusionist. Trust me i'm a coercer and if it wasn't for the fact all the work I put into my coercer I would switch to becomming an illusionist. The only thing stopping me from doing so is all my spells will be apprentice 1 and I would have to buy the adepts for lvl 51-54 my current lvl

yea my sentiments exactly i'm completely fed up and do apologize for that in advance should of put some *** without the spelling but im about to quit the game anyway makes no diference. Plus if i get banned aint gonna make a diference might as well ban all coercers from the game anyway cause thats gonna be the final result. either quit eq2 or be banned from the forums cause this was the final straw for coercers

Please do not go out of your way to get yourself banned from the forums. I sympathize with your frustration, but all people doing that really do is give the forum moderators that are just here to enforce the Forum Rules of Conduct, more work to do.Constructive feedback about the game is very appreciated even though you won't always see developer responses.

Dude lol there is "a" charm and "the" charm if you know difference ....

I suggest you do next 2 things

a) get Appretice 4 of Domination (lvl 61 charm) charm with it something say Ravesect Spellspinner

b) get Coerce/Beguile or Dominate Master 1 (either will work) and charm with it SAME mob

c) Come here and tell us if you see anydifference

(Hint: if ever done any charming in your life you might know answer in advance....)
