![]() Out of all classes coercer have most mana innefficent spells ... which was ofseted for while with relatively high mana regeneration (not a case after nerf) Look at this Warden have nuke on 2s recast timer (analog of Seizure) that at Adept 3 do 372 damage/96 power our Seizure at Adept 1 do 237damage/101power 2s recast timer.... ? (4.1DPM for priest vs. 2.2DPM for mage?). I am not even asking compare DPS of those... Toss here fact that primary Wardens DoT at Adept 3 do 104-124 damage per tic (4s tic) vs Torment Adept 3 109 damage per tic (4s tic) I dont want even compare out DPM with warlocks and wizards ... we do by so much margine its not even remotely funny. Lets take primary low lvl spell Dark Distortion (lvl 23 mainstream nuke) after you factor in power tap you get something along lines ~50 final power cost ~700 damage done, Nil Distortion have even better ratio... Lets also look on secondary nukes like Suffocating Cloud or HPB - both nukes (3.5s recast timer here) have close to 5.5DPM Lets not forget look on other spells please compare Devouring Toughts 176 power cost for total 292 power drain from target (at Master 1) vs. Illusionist Devitalizing Stare 59 power cost for total 313 power drain per target (its even irrelavant that Illusionist have AE power drain we comparing general power cost for essentially same spell) Mind Eye - power cost 300 for 12 power/6s (9power/4.5s) Psychic Wail- power cost 489 for 6s stun |

![]() I would not have a probelm if they reduced our casting/recast timers and left the damage the same. This would still give the others the "big bang" DDs. I would also not mind better DPS even with a worst damage to mana ratio then the other casters. Give me 75% a worlock's DPS but make mine a less mana efficient cost by keeping the damage the same but increasing the ability to cast more. This would put us back in mage DPS area from priest DPS and still give the upper hand to our other mage classes. Or fix out charm with a longer duration that doesn't break all the time. When you think about it a warlock targets the MA then starts a nonstop flow of DPS. The coercer casts a few spells and then charms a mob and has done zero DPS up to this point. We then target the MAs mob and attack with charm pet. We have finally started some DPS where our wizard/warlock/pet class brothers are already well into a good DPS flow. Then our charm breaks and we recast all the while a good chance it doesn't work and once again we are in the non-DPS mode. After all said and done we didn't really do much of anything but keep the healer busy healing us. Give me a longer duration charm that I can actually do something with and fix the resetting the encounter thing. Charm is also very very situational. I'm in zones where mobs are not lower then my level most of the time. So charm is useless there. SOE could also make our charm just like our mez in everyway. This would give us the ability to use it as our second mez and give us a small window to increase our DPS with the mob. I feel if they did this it would fix both our charm issues and our single mez issue.

Coercers are a joke.. wish we had more coercers who played...so we could rumble these forums a bit more. In all honesty, my coercer as twinked as he can be at 44. Ya sure i dont have all fabled.. but im doing alright..... I dnot have all masters... but if they arent master the are adept3... I should be at least good with this gear..
