From what I can tell, illusionists have...

Sub-par nukes
Great buffs
Great crowd control
and a Pet
(also cool illusion spells XD)

Wizards have

Huge direct damage
Huge direct damage
Huge direct damage

I have noticed wizards are a dime a dozen and illusionists are quite rare, is there a reason behind this? Oh and how good are illusionist pets?

one more question, which one is more fun?

But not 100% badone more question, which one is more fun?Subjective, depends on you.

My rule of thumb: if you have more than 2 x's in your name... go wizard. SMILEY

wizards dont have GREAT group buffs.....their int buff buffs STR and ours buffs WIS....instead of haste they get a melee proc (about 25-30 DPS per person)....then they get a tank buff that has a chance to proc mana when hes hit. and a 12 sec group spell proc. thats it.

as for group utility, we can feed mana too. just cant evac. wizzies also have a single target mezz that mezzes themselves at the same time ([Removed for Content]). and thats it for their utility.

That's a silly point Sprognak, any wizard can hit evac, and that evac saves the group as much as the Illusionist mezzing the adds. Where Illusionists excell is tactics and strategy. Beeing able to take large encounters and overwhealming odds with minimal or underpowered forces..When a group works with us though it's a think of beauty. I don't raid much, so i cant speak to those scenarios, but in single groups, it's a tossup, with the Wizard taking a lot less effort and grey hairs to accomplish the same task. Well have to see if that remains the same in the next few "patches"

Although you got the point I was trying to make, you misunderstood my intentions in the post SMILEYThe point is Wizards and Illusionists are totally distinct classes and other than the fact that both wear cloth armour, have very little in common.Want big nukes, go Wizard. Want a group to go "Wow, how the hell did we survive THAT! That was AMAZING" then play an Illusionist.

I think apples are both underrated and reasonably priced.. they are quite delicious grouped up with other fruits in pies and fruit cups or all by themselves when eaten solo.

I quite enjoy apples.
