..why?

The **mods 4 teh win!!1!** Ribbet noise it makes. It really does make my ear bleed, and even the nicest group member will ask me to kill him after 30 seconds of it. Why one earth does the Warlock frog have to Ribbet once every second constantly? It ruins what would be a nice spell for us.

Its identical to the toad spell you get at 20. Including the noise that makes girls aloud sound talentedIm now trying to work out where the Ribbet file is kept and delete it.

I've done one /feedback about the annoying ribbit sound of the level 20 spell.  Maybe if the first thing every Warlock does when they log in daily is to /feedback this issue, they will correct it.  Squeaky wheel gets the grease!

It is not a "pet" but a familiar. I have two issues:1. The sound. I do think that the toad should make a sound, but not constantly. More like 20% of the current amount. In some ways it isn't even that bad because I do see the level 20 as a curse. No seriously! Someone does something stupid, etc and they get frogged. In a short period you turn them back. Ok fine, if there wasn't sound then the level 20 would be a bit more enjoyable, granted. Ok, now about the familiar- totally different situation. Get rid of the constant "ribbiting"!2. This is a familiar, not a giant killer frog pet! I understand perhaps turning people into large toads because of possible issues with size (even that is weak) but the familiar should be SMALL! The toad familiars should be 1/4 the size and somehow unique in appear (perhaps like the small brown and green frogs in the swamp). What is the purpose of a familiar toad? To sneak around instead of being something that stands out to be quickly exterminated.Moonshadow

He he he, this sounds like the issue with the familiar from 1. The noise Flappy made ALL the time. Your right, this is an issue. Devs', please, we know its a cosmetic thing, but the noise effects our real life mood. I'm sure it would be easy to turn down how often Toady croaks.

Yeah, it seems like it would be extremely easy to reduce the toad "croaking" frequency and the size (or switch with the graphics of another frog from like the swamp). This is what I fear, our level 50 familiar will look indentical to the big rat pet that the assassin gets at 20! Moonshadow

I'm amazed you could get a warlock to level 30.  They have to be the weakest char class in the game. Oh you never tried soloing...

warlock is a GREAT class if you know your strengths/weaknesses, and how to play the class.  There's a certain order you should cast in to get the best possible effect out of your spells.  Try experimenting with things instead of just chain nuking and whining about it being a bit less dmg than wizzies.  True, we nuke for less dmg than wizards, but we have so many other benefits, and we can nuke/dot/debuff/etc for much longer than any other casting class.

Im now trying to work out where the Ribbet file is kept and delete it.

Not being sarcastic here, but even if you do, you'll still annoy others in your group because they wouldn't delete it from their local.  Unless you just want to jump around solo?

Sure, but you then know which file it is and can tell them to go delete it.  Or just say "huh? what ribbiting?  Oh that little thing?  bah..turn  your speakers off..." hehe

So...the familiar doesn't add any benefits like mana tick, hp tick, uh...engages in combat.  Scavanges food for you.  Auto trade for you.  Nothing?   Makes a turkey sammich?

Bah...
