What are Wizard vs Warlock solo adventuring pros vs cons?

Heyas all wizards:

My roommate jsut started playing and he asked me which class is better for soloing Wizard or warlock and I said neither is better they are different but he wants a clearer picture. I don't play casters so can you guys tell me what do you think the pros and cons of each class vs the other I would much appreciate it. Also I would like to hear from as many higher level toons as possible even if they only have one or the other class.

Warlocks are best vs groups of mobs, Wizards are single target nukers. Both can solo so it will depend on what you want to play basicly, a AoE class that deals in poison/disease or single target class that deals in elemental.

id go with the wizard just because of the downturn in being beating with that nerf bat warlocks have has if any class needs fixed its them lol. but it just depends on what ur roomate likes to play, single target clast em ups or mutiple target blast ems.
