I'm a 48 wizard with about 95 int, and 2300 power, is that good or too low in comparison with what one could have at 48?

Well considering a lvl 48's Int cap is around ~348.  Your INT is incredibly low.  I had a ~220 int unbuffed at 48, I just recently upgraded my Int gear to whatever is in my sig, buffed I can get it up to 350ish.  My power is around 3500 (also in my sig).

You definatly need to upgrade your armor for Int gear.  Most of my stuff until I hit 50 was all Legendary or less, mainly drops from mobs and quests.

I was around 300 INT around level 48-50 but don't worry, finding great INT gear is one of the funner things to do in the game! SMILEYMy advice, harvest, harvest, harvest.  Find a nice spot and harvest for a solid week. You need 3 pearls, 1 ironwood, 5 saguaro roots.  From them, have made, 2 pearl orbs, 1 pearl ring of intelligence, legendary wand, producers cap, cambric robe, cambric pants & two 13int hex dolls. It'll be costly but that will give you around an extra 175-185 int.  Also look for good INT items on the broker, such as the cuffs of the seductress, sawgrin mits and the necklace of silence.  Level up, go to Silent City a lot, get hold of the Belt of the claw and the beast tamers cowl.  Make sure you get Fist of the Tyrant at Adept III too for another 59 INT boost.Youll be up there in no time.

My 33 wiz has 205 int just through my items and racial stats so id say that 95 is a tad low.Ive not even got imbued rings yet for that character.

The cap for level 48 is 356. You are at 95. That is roughly 26%. That means you are a wizard running at about 26% of full capacity. There is no need to aim for that int cap unless you are level capped, since you will shortly outgrow the cap and hitting the cap usually requires a bit more change than most people want to put into it. But you may at least want to aim for the late 200's early 300's.But of course it also depends on your playing style. If you solo, then it honestly doesn't matter what your gear is, you will fight whatever you are capable of fighting. But if you upgrade you will see a difference while soloing, you will be able to take on tougher mobs, and the fights will go quicker. If you group with other people that are not concerned with being powerful in combat then you'll fit right in, and you can cascually grind away up to the higher levels. However, if you tend to group with pickup groups, or in high speed groups, or if you are considering ever doing a raid, yeah, upgrade. I would imagine that a well equiped paladin of 2 levels lower than you could out dps you, which means that groups will not be happy with you since your purpose in their group is to dps. It would be similar to a tank that just could never keep agro.

Save your money for 50, you get to choose far superior stuff compared what you could get now.

Good point, you really do have better options when you hit 50. What I did was hang in the lower range of int (early 200's or so) until I hit 50, and then I went on a shopping spree. I ran out of money though, so still haven't hit the lovely int cap yet.But if you are needing a bit of a boost to your int temporarily, such as if you normally solo and don't care about int but find yourself in a raid or large fast paced group, you might consider potions. They are a total pain to find, but if you can find some well priced ones are well worth it.

Also if you havent already, get yourself some good int hex dolls.  When you get a pearl get an imbued intelligence pearl ring ( you will also need a rare lambent)  these two will greatly increase your int.

If you are not rich, there are also dolls with ruby, they are rather cheap, and difference withe the T6 doll is not bigAlso get some ring with intelligence spell, they exist in T5 and T6 version depending on how rich you are.dolls and rings will follow you till 60, maybe more (hehe who knows ?) then they are worth speding money

Bye T5 dolls and ring, I think 2 dolls and one pristine imbued ring of intelligence is less than 1PP, and will give you a lot if int more.

95 INT at level 48 is very low. At that level you should have at least twice that amount of INT-points. I'd say that a level 48 wizard should have at least 200 INT.
