![]() Just a small concern. It was my understanding that zones that contain Avatars did not instance. Wouldn't having Lavastorm suddenly start instancing cause the possibility of multiple spawns of Avatar of Flame? |

![]() In response to the recent test update and the post by Kander I re-copied my 2 toons over again. I 2 boxed thru the quest line leading up to the X2 access quest. There were between 12-18 people in LS most of the time. Even with the increased spawn rates I still spent a good deal of time waiting on spawns. Ocassionally would see other players killing the void mobs also, but mainly just me. So while the spawn rate will help I do not think it will "fix" the zone for live. If the zone instances at 50 people this still wont help. If the 50 people were scattered through out the zone it would be fine for the size of this zone, however everyone for the most part(70s-80s) will be concentrated at the docks and skull cave/void areas. That would easily put 20-25 players fighting for the same mobs in a very very small game area. Just populating the other side of the docks with void mobs may be enough. I am sure it may be difficult to add in land mass but if you want to keep the areas seperated then you need to add more land to the "void side" of the docks. Thanks!

![]() We seriously weighed the options and even discussed that very thing, Xede, but with that extended beach area being used by level 45+ content (both beasts and quests gained in zone and outside), we felt it would interfere with the adventurers of that level. The less chance that a level 45 player will be attacked by a level 80 beast, the better! That is why Najena's Cove has been clearly defined as the attacking forces section. The protection staffs that you must interact with for Pallasa Rargon's first quest, "Crystal Replacement" separates that part of the beach from the rest.
Kander made a great improvement when he increased the spawnrate of the level 80+ population, and made the zone instance at a much lower level. This will not alleviate all of the pressure, but it certainly will help!

![]() Just startted doing the L 80 Quests from the temple on the docks at LS. Am doing OK so far, done the Replacing Crystals one, and Killing Void Touched Cephalopods. Not sure how I will do from now on, though, as other Quests in there opened to me but were for killing L 84 and 83 mobs.... I'm a L 80 Swashie in MC Rilisian and Incarnadine armor mix, to keep as much of the +45 CA from Incarnadie as possible, with Incarnadine weapons so no higher level gear here. So far this quest line hads been hard, but achievable which is what I like, thank you. A question, though, and I have read all the posts here - is there Solo Shard content in LS for us solo players? |

Dont worry Kit, the mobs have been toned down a fair bit since the quests first hit test. I think the highest level mobs you need to kill are lvl 82 solos. The majority are 80/81. The quests range in level up to 85, but the mobs dont. If you keep going through the quest lines you will unlock a daily repeatable quest that gives a void shard. Once you have done the "despatching the destroyers" quest from Pallasa Rargon you should be able to start the quest series from Marathan Allim. His final quest is the shard one.

![]() Bleh. Made a big error here. I wnet to the guy who Buffs and suddenly got a whole new set of armor & weapons, and my skills increased, and all 200 AA. As well as this I got this lump shape in the inventory that said I could use it to Save a Profile... No, I could not find a way to use it at all. All I could do was Examine and it gave no hint as to what to do with it. Continuing to be a nosy Fae, I said OK teleport me. and arrived in an Instance that refused to let me in.. So I Evaced out and hoped my stats would return to normal. Nopes I still had all the armor etc. So I changed back into my own gear and closed the game and restarted it. Nopes still the same. So I copied my original toon AA layout and respecced the Test Copy one's back to match, leaving the extra points not allocated. I had only had 116 AA. So my question is this - How do I get back to what I was? Delete my toon and copy her to Test copy again? And has this messed up my chance of doing this Instance at some point? If it is a group one it is no real problem, but if it is a Solo one, bleh.... I did do more of 2 quest lines, one had me explore the Skull cave and the 3 chambers, then is sending me back to kill the Void person. The other had me kill Vile Seepages and then sent me back to kill Enslaved Magma beasties. The only ones I can see are those teamed with a Void Ripper I think it is. I killed two of the pairs and died twice doing that. Am I killing the right mob here? I think we need a Mender in LS if folk are going to die as often as me. |

Did the zone again with my newly copied Inquisitor. Spawn rates where a lot better but the best change was, that the items for "Cleansing the Elements" where now quest updates instead of chest drops. So now can group to share the updates. It seemed a lot smoother then the first time. But that might also be the case 'cause I did know what to do for which quest.

Yep. It was a complete mess on Valor. Only one instance for the whole server. Mobs where engaged ~0.5s after spawn. All the ugliness of humankind did show as everyone was trying to get his mobs. I did send a tell to a GM, that it was promised that there would be several instances and if he could spawn at least an 2nd instance of lavastorm. All I got in return was "/feedback it, I can't do anything" (I already did that on test). Maybe it was 'cause the Avatar of Flames was up, but it was still very frustrating.

You can copy another toon over, if you don't delete the one you have the new one will have an x appended to the name, you can copy as many as you like of the same or different toons up to the character limit. There is a mender on the Nek docks, not sure why you are running to TS for a mender. |

![]() Here is my negative feedback on the LS update. 1. This update seemed really buggy. I like you guys are overhauling player dev communications, but you also need to look at your Q&A department. Several broken abilties and spells, some (like the warden mythical and AoE immune) were extremely bad and should have never made it to live on something as simple as a game update. 2. The x2 zone was misrepresented. I ran this zone both with my main, and 12 of the top players in my guild, and also on an alt in a pickup raid. So far we have gotten passed 6 of the 9 named with my guildmates, and we were able to down 1 named in the pickup raid. Now i dont mind we havent cleared the zone in a week, infact i would have been extremely dissapointed if this zone did not pose atleast a little bit of a challenge, but to say this zone is designed for casuals is just not accurate. I put the level of difficulty on some of these fights to Guk3 or palace3. Both zones i dont know of any 'casuals' or pickup groups can clear. So to say it was designed for casuals, im just not seeing it. 3. The lockout timer on the x2 is WAY to long. It needs to be on the same timer as Tomb of the Mad Crusader. Why a x4 zone is on a 3day lockout and the x2 is on a 5day is just beyond me. 4. The new pvp title system is HORRIBLE. I was one that wanted a change to the current title system, and when i first read the idea for Decay, i was ok with it. I still beleive it can work, however the way it was implemented is just terrible. It is obvious that no real time or thought went into it, much like any other pvp change that is made. I almost wish you guys would just come out and say "we dont care about pvp". My other problem is with the complete lack of communication about how it was going to work. I would have never supported a system that would decay fame while you are offline or a system where you can only advance if you kill someone of equal title. 5. The mission quests in LS for the elemental shards are extremly unimaginative, and seemed to be more of an after thought then an actual way a player can log in and have fun doing something. I understand the gear is for solo's, but you could have atleast varied the quests a little.
