Cannot log in to my characters

Logged in once using the shortcut (bypassing the patcher) and had the same problem with no characters, then ran the patcher, downloaded a 1.something mb file and entered the game again. Now all characters are present and accounted for. Just thought I would suggest using the patcher if there's anyone else using the shortcut.

woohoo everfrost is back up!  just in time to claim the nipik SC item and thenoff to bed for me.  now if only i could get EQ2x to work....

yep , I'm in on both my accounts , whoot !

I did replace the standalone laucher with the new one TSR Josh linked earlier , so I don't know if the standalone works now ...

hopefully , there won't be too many more gotchas with the launch , good luck guys

I logged in this morning and all of my critters were back and happy...sort of. The mice were complaining about no cheese all day yesterday and being cooped up with a stinky kerran. The elves got cabin fever and decorated the guild hall with...the mice and then used the fae as a tree topper on one of the pine trees. I'm pretty sure that the gnome blew SOMETHING up...I just haven't found it yet. Ah well, off to rescue the mice, scold the elves, get the fae down from the top of the tree and figuure out what the gnome blew up! THEN off to Velious!

On a serious note to the devs and TSR's:  Thanks for working so hard to get us up and running, and for putting up with the grumbling and muttering from the disgruntled players.  And to the other players who posted here, thanks for making the wait a lot more entertaining.

I never lost my characters- there they are- a lovely list of white names---- yes- very nice- i run the log in screen every 10 mins of so just to read the list..... yes there they are.... right under the GREYED OUT updating window. Great game eh? EQ2 character list reading... simpler than the MMORPG that used to be there.

Thanks.  I _knew_ they'd come through.  Got my 6 characters back.  Now just waiting on the bottleneck of logins to resolve...

Thank you for that!  Many people worked a long day yesterday to resolve some post-launch issues and will continue to work hard the rest of this week.  I'm thankful to work with a great team of people that really care about the game.

Okies this is annoying, Yesterday i had this problem...Last night it seemed fixed...and this morning as well...Now When ever i switch characters or go to the character select screeen between switching characters it only shows me 4 toons. and shows the crushbone server as down, yet not my Antonia bayle character. 

I can temporairly fix this by deleteing my INI fille for the accountname.ini  but this only works once then i switch, have said above problem and have to repeat.  So atm it is impossible for me to switch toons without deleteing said file and restarting....

I have also deleted the cache files too, done 2 full system scans.

Did you delete the LoginCache-US folder as well or just the cache folder?  Give it a shot.
