T2 level locked twinks were killing the game. I couldn't get any of my friends to stay more than two days because of it. If my friends were being driven off, I imagine many others were as well. There's a difference between preying on weak people in higher tiers and preying on complete noobs in t2.

Imo the perma-locked pvpers were the carebears. They preyed on the weak and the unaware and avoided anything that might be potentially cause harm to their precious titles. I started this discussion not to remove exp from PvP, merely REDUCE it.

I would suggest 1% per kill.

The actual % should be related to the faction required for the pvp faction gear, which means altering the required faction or the % exp gained

A better solution would be a full overhaul of the lowbie PvP gear and the systems to attain it. PvP has changed radically since Nagafen opened - but the PvP gear and the faction / status needed to pick it up has remained exactly the same. As it is, those four class gear NPC's are basically sucking up space in the code.

You get AA from grey quests now. Nothing stopping you from doing those.

And theres a simple solution -- Remove level locking alltogether. We need more PVP high end anyway, lets get some of those level locked characters up there SMILEY

Or theres always the eq1 alternative -- Dont allow you to spend aa points till level 51 SMILEY

That wouldnt do anything, as it would even out on both ends...

TBH, I doubt I'll ever pvp in t8. I enjoy being lazy and getting MC gear and going out and pvping my heart out. I never want get stuck doing endless shard runs or raiding...the thought makes my skin crawl....
