I don't see why soe could not just make/add armor/clothing the do nothing but show bear skin. Hell they could put in on the status merchant as some LOW LVL [<- hint hint wink wink] status item so that every one could do what they wish on there characters.

I'm /feedbacking loads of quest/faction reward clothes be created. Lava looking stuff for the Drednevers of Sol Eye, furs for the Greenhoods of Zek, far eastern clothes for the villagers of the Island of Mara.

Perhaps some quest or faction reward clothes could be created for this purpose. Considering the invisible nature, "the emperors clothes" could be a good hook. Begs the question though, which emperor to tie them too.

I can confirm that the Rainsoaked Wrist level 55 cloth forearm item, priest, scout, fighter usable, hides both the wrist and glove slots when in the appearance slot. It does NOT hide the shoulder slot, so you need to have something separate for that. I would have liked something to cover the glove and not the bracer, but at least this DOES get rid of the glove until I can find something that will hide the glove without hiding the bracer also!

I found a bare chest piece! The Talvus Linked Tunic (in-game link: aITEM -841832551 -1125889051:[Talvus Linked Tunic]/a ), lvl 52 chain, wearable by all scouts, defilers, and mystics.  Quest reward from Reverse Engineering Part II, one of the quests given by the Nybrights in LFay

They could resolve this issue by adding a right-click function to the slots in the Appearance tab that said "Leave Bare" -- or, by adding new tailor / armor recipes that have transparent textures.  A few things I would like to see : Fingerless gloves / toeless footwearGloves without the big bulky cuffsArm bandsV-cut vestsOther than that, I don't think much is missing.  Those things would allow fur patterns, scale patterns, skin tones, tattoos, etc., clawed hands, feet, arms, and whatnot to show through. However the other extreme is that we suddenly have people wandering around wearing nothing, which is equally as silly as being completely covered.

It's only bare if used on a SOGA model though.  It's a pretty shiny chain BP on normal models.

The right-click option sounds logical to me too Araxes. If something is in the slot, it shows. If nothing is in the slot, you can right click and have the option to "hide inventory armor appearance for this slot" or the like.

I LOVE my humans! All three of my human girls, actually. They have such a diverse and rich history in Norrath, and they can pretty much be any alignment and class and still be entirely believable. Plus, they have a much more natural shape instead of looking like they're running around with breast implants and too much plastic surgery. My only complain would be that they have no butt or hips to speak of. However, dressing them correctly resolves the problem with a lack of lower.. erm... figure.

As for her facial appearance, set all your sliders in the center and then make minor adjustments either way, with only one or maybe two extreme adjustments. A lot of extremes don't look as good on human models as they do on elven. What I didn't realize after I created Sapphirius was that in-game Sapph looks almost exactly like poSapph. Except her hair is auburn and mine is nearly black.

Gee, I see that shape every day when I look in the mirror.  So, I can certainly say I've seen it quite often in real life.  The human female is VERY built, but for her size, her shape is quite natural.- Katsi

Well, that depends. Are most of the female humans you're looking at teenagers or adults going through extreme corset training? The human female figure in game looks a ton like most real life female humans I know... including myself, just add more in the way of hips and a bottom for me. Though, I do have friends who quite literally have no butt or hips to speak of too. Hrmm.

I don't think I want to see anyone go through extreme corset training.Maybe its just specifics putting me wrong.

Other than the ears, hairstyles, and chests the female woodelves look most like my friends. The human females just don't look all that great to me. Their faces are pretty limited and I've tried getting them to be more attractive. But its all subjective, so if they look good to you that's a plus.More variation in what we can make each race look like would be great. It would also be great if I didn't stand around like a mannequin all day, some idle movement would be nice. Also some additional variations in expression would make me happy. Something to make it look like there is someone home and not just a vacant stare. The moods are a little over the top, well some.

Gloves are faded wraps from Darklight, but you have to be a monk or bruiser to get the quest and to wear them. Another pair of shoes are the cured sandals, again brawler only.

The correct question would be, "Has anyone found gloves without a graphic that can be obtained by all classes?" The Golden Wraps and Faded Wraps from Greater Faydark and Darklight Woods can be worn by 3 of the 4 classes, but only monks and bruisers can select them as a quest reward.

From http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Appearance

A common appearance related question is "I want to show my bare arms/hands/feet/etc", here is a list of items known to do just that job.

Slot Item Notes
Head(none required)Use the "Hide Head Cover" option on your persona window.
Chest(none available)Male monks can use a Gi to go bare chested. Other male classes must remove their chest armor from both the "equipment" and the "appearance" page of their inventory. Males using SOGA graphics may be able to use aITEM -841832551 -1125889051:[Talvus Linked Tunic]/a to bare their chest, however it won't work for people using the normal models.
ShoulderaITEM 1573789911 1357386989:[Pristine Tailored Rough Linen Shawl]/aThere have been reports of lower level tailored sleeves also having no appearance.
ForearmsaITEM -841603139 -1877247997ristine Tranquil Sackcloth Cuffs/aThere have been reports of lower level tailored bracers also having no appearance.
HandsaITEM -1224459361 -1856871699:[Faded Wraps]/a aITEM -1192975037 1772367549:[Golden Wraps]/aAlthough wearable by most classes, they are only obtainable by monk/bruiser.
HandsaITEM -851961248 -1104480384:[Rainsoaked Wrist]/aThese hide the forearm and hand slot items. Dropped by Thunderclap in Tenebrous Tangle (a small cold snap is his PH).
HandsaITEM 713703231 -2115055259:[Reet Warrior's Shoulderguards]/a aITEM -1810312165 -239694671:Sweat-soaked Shoulderpads/a aITEM -1239098735 -545131781:Concentrated Chi Epaulets/aThese hide the forearm and hand slot items but display a tightly fitted ornamental sleeve instead. Not truly bare arms, but the hands are displayed instead of gloves.
Legs(none available)Some dresses show legs through the side/front, but there are no items which completely reveal them.
FeetaITEM 1789658926 1627383139:[Tunare's Earthwalkers]/aA raid drop from Emerald Halls (mistress of the veil), hides your boots.
FeetaITEM 1831638608 1324671963:[Cured Leather Sandals]/aThese can only be worn by monk/bruiser.
Feet(formal dresses/garb) eg aITEM -1045756093 -57438357:opulent female gold skirt/aMany of the formal dresses/outfits will display bare feet, but this means you won't get a pants-with-bare-feet look. Incidentally, to get a pants-with-bare-feet look, combine the opulent female gold skirt with aITEM -1878454396 -1688556717:[female tradesman tunic]/a (it's not great, but it's a start).

The Imperceptible Beauty Set from some Live Events will display everything but chest (female only) and legs as having nothing showing. The chest and legs will simply show the default pants (male) or dress (female) if equipped in the appearance slot.

Well, that list is nice, but doesnt help with hand slot only if your not a bruiser or monk.  Those wraps are no trade.

So, still, Ill bump this to see if anyone can find hand slot items that show no appearance.  but leave the forearm item appearance.

Pristine Tranquil Sackcloth Shawl shows bare hands when worn under a robe, with a west it's a lacy pattern covering the upper arm and wrists/top of the hands. Lvl 2 (MC) cloth so wearable by all classes (only checked it out with my female Arasai however so no idea how it looks with/without SOGA on other races of either gender.)

Gloves of Imperceptible Beauty (or something like that) have a bare appearance. They've been available at various Live Events (world events which are only available for a limited time). The last time was for the Spire repairs.

Other than those, the only options are for specific classes.

I believe the Imperceptible Beauty line of armor was put into the game after this thread was started in 2007.
