I currently carry only bags in my inventory. They are mostly 10-slot with a couple bigger ones from quests.  I would like to have a few more slots. I noticed that my capacity is like 60/500. So 2 100-weight boxes would not put me over.  Im not rich so buying high-end player bags still hurts. I was wondering if other guardians carry a couple boxes in inventory. If so, can that cause a problem ?  debuffs ... Comments / ideas as to what you use for inventory slots are welcome. Any good bag quests also. I have EEbag.

Yeah do the ferrott fern collection, you may have to buy some leaves but the reward is a 30 slot bag (zero weight reduction) very nice to have.

i have carried a few boxes instead of bags, I only became encumbered once, and a bit of juggling to get heavy loot into wr bags fixed it.  Just keep an eye on your weight.  I tend to only go into town when my inventory gets full, and there have been times where I was carrying 250+ pounds of loot.  As my bags got bigger, the amount of loot i could carry increased, and the weight increased with it.

Make sure you leave enough weight capacity to hold what you want to carry without driving yourself nuts running to town all the time. (how much that will be is a matter of personal preferance)

I carry a couple, I'm a carpenter so they came cheap.  Just leave a decent amount of room in case you get debuffed.  I tried 3 once, but ended up dying after an Inquisitor debuffed me so I went back to 2 SMILEY  Once you start getting all the big bags from the quests though, its not really necessary.

At the risk of a nerf, this is what I carry: Medium Collector's Pouch 18 slots Pristine briarwood strong box 20 slots Huge Collector's Pouch 30 slots Large Collector's Pouch 24 slots Bag of Sewn Evil Eye 20 slots Shroud of the Manastone 12 slots I guess I should swap my box for a 24 slot atleast, and I certainly have the wt to replace the manastone bag with a box as well. 106 slots seems to normally meet my carrying needs though, even though I carry lots of 'junk' with me (multi stacks of food/drink, what ever book quests I'm working on in my free time, buff rings, various activatable slots items, harvests, weapons, potions, and 'fun' items). ---Ah crap, I can't belive I'm posting this, the Gnomes of the Greater Norathian Box & Bag Crafters Union are gonna hunt me down and rip me a new one.

Even if you buy best player crafted bags there are still like a lady's purse compared to a 24 slot Teak Strong Box. You can carry 1 or 2 on you without even feeling it. :smileywink:

I found a downside to carrying boxes. Mentoring. When you mentor low levels your str drops dramatically. If you only carry boxes, you aren't going to be moving very fast. I suppose of you never help out the newbs, this really isn't an issue though.

One more consideration.  Sometimes falling is a b*tch.  I've noticed sometimes there are small places where it looks like you are falling five feet, but you take a lot of damage.  Also sometimes the griffin drops you midair etc.  I've heard that carrying a large ammount of weight can double this falling damage.  Maybe I'm just a clutz, but especially when running away from things, I've found this damgage to be quite significant and I'm not sure if I'm willing to increase it.  Btw, I'm currently using 6 14-slot 10%wr bags.  Any experiences from box users?
