Myrist quests bugs and feedback

There is a problem with the spawning rate of the books. There's not enough of them, especially the books with decayed bindings which are extremely rare and painful to get.

I thought finding the decayed bindings was difficult until I realized the difference in spawn locations for them. They tend to be more along the outside rim of the mezzidine and in the north and south rooms unlike the other 2 books to find.

There is no Myrist section in "zone discussion" so l'll post it here.

In the South Wing Stacks, South Wing Catalog, North Wing Catalog and Great Librarian's Office many books and scrolls stacks are floating in mid-air above the desks.

Dark Power Desires:
When you return to talk to the Maladjusted Codex to turn in, the book is above "Librarian Gibbletish"'s head, but you have to speak to the Maladjusted Codex first to continue the quest.

Issue: Spawn Rate of "Decayed Bindings"
Even with taking the suggestions of those above, today it feels as if these are spawning one at a time. I've been at this step for close to 30 minutes and only have 3/4. The number spawning at a time may need to be looked into.

A Myrist custodian walked through the wall in the great librarian's office while l was talking to Quellious, to the left of the portal leading to the plane of justice.

Find Zebuxoruk's shrine on Myrist's Mezzanine

The quest is updated when we enter the North Wing Catalog and go to the right near the tables, but there is no shrine to be examined nearby.

I bugged that one yesterday, shrine is actually in the main medzanine room, next to one of the big blue windows on the void.

Complete the quest and talk to Librarian Aemeli, there is a spelling mistake in "Myrist" in the sentence "The Great Librarian and I are some of the very few amongst the living of Mryist who bore witness to both events".

You should have noticed a significant reduction of floating books and scrolls on Myrist desks after this morning's update.

And with tomorrow's Beta update you should find the following changes:

• The Planes of Power collection - Coin and book reward is now given at collection completion, if you do not already have it.
• Dusty Book - Can no longer be gathered if you already have "The Planes of Power" book.
• Deadtime Stories of Bertoxxulous collection - Coin and book reward is now given at collection completion, if you do not already have it.
• Deadtime Stories of Bertoxxulous - The book can no longer be gathered if you already have it.
• Judging by the Cover - Binding Decayed Books are more plentiful now.
• Fun Cubed - Petri cube locations respawn much faster now!
• Fun Cubed - Plancing the petri cubes is now a group update.
• Desired Knowledge - Only Zebuxoruk's shrine will now update this quest now, as intended.
• Paging for Help - Newly Written Book Pages are easier to find now.

Very odd! I wonder if something is odd with the pathing. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.

I submitted a tentative fix for this. I'll have to test it after the next update.

Quest Fun Cubed:

I see you made the spawn rate quicker for the sparkles at the end of the beds on this quest, but....if there is nothing there to click on when I go to the foot of the bed then I think I'm doing something wrong. I think the sparkles should be there then I get there. Could it be a bit faster? Sorry

Text error in Honoring the Lost

Other details: Exact Error: Knowledge, they shall be lifted by THE her blessing in Erylsai. The is redundant.

Other details: Exact error takes place at the end of the dialogue with Librarian Gibbletish. "We've all HAVE run-ins with it". Should be "We've all HAD run-ins with it".

Can't really figure out where to post this so putting it here. Very first signature quest in Myrist, after meditation, the worm that spawns kills me the instant me or my bird so much as looks at it. I saw the buff on it, 50% power and 50% hp hit on me whenever I hit it, tried not hitting it at all, it does basically no damage, but you can't kill something without hitting it. I hit it without bird, I died, bird hits without me, I also died.

I am at a complete loss. Hope you guys look into stuff like that with % based damage.

I am having the same issue on my wizard. The bookworm recieves no damage from me - neither from my class spells nor from my ascension spells. It hits me twice and im dead. It also drains my power fully empty.
Tried it also with my merc but it didnt help.

Owch. That doesn't sound intended. I'll be sure to take a look at it!

It was very hard to kill. I (defiler) basically put all my tank wards on me and only let the dog touch it. If your power drops too low it seems to drain your health and a few times I had to quickly cannibalize to get enough power for a heal as my health dropped in 3rd chunks after a power drain. I can't imagine how a non healer could take it out but I will test it on my swashy later on.

Can we get the encounter with the worm moved somewhere else?? Don't need dying when going to or from the elemental portal closeby !

Quest: Honoring the Lost
Objective: Collect Rourre's urn.

There are two urns on the floor, neither is clickable. The quest has worked up until the part to collect the urns.

Edit: Ignore that, it seems his urn is up, not on the floor. Whoops!

The AOE attack by the bookworm was unintentional, and is being removed. No move is necessary.

The following changes have been made and should be in with tomorrow's Beta update:

• Elements of Destruction: Pursuit of Justice - Bookworm is no longer ridiculously strong or casting AoE spells on innocent bystanders.

The sage in the library named Alhuurn Khalen. Whenever you speak to him, after you are finished, it gives you " You have discovered a total of 6 legendary relics from the Age of Turmoil". The first time this happened I did get the suffix title: The Treasure Hunter". This was without buying anything or any other communication. Each time I hail him I still get the "You have discovered a total of 6 legendary relics from the Age of Turmoil.

In the 3rd Step of Elements of Destruction:Starpyre's Flames, where you are to place the runes "on" the mural on the floor. No rune appears, only the shiney location identifier goes away. usually, there would be a placement sound as when you place an item in your house, and the item that you put down would appear. in this case they did not

The weekly quest 'The Elemental Planes: Preparation [Heroic I]' gives 'a prized particularly potent planar part' as a reward. Is the horse mount/crafting achievement still meant to have relevance (eg still needed to unlock celestials or such) or should that be giving a new type of component as a reward instead?

I don't believe this is exclusive to this expansion. I've seen that message before off the sage in Qeynos (different number, of course), so maybe that was your first time talking to a sage after hitting whatever threshold gave you the title? I've never been clear on what defines "legendary relics from the Age of Turmoil" (heritage quests, maybe?) but sounds like you have a few around.
