Have a couple questions about some the definitions for some the new ascension abilities:
The term "Profession abilities" does it apply to spells and or combat arts that each class gets as they level and that be can improved by expert, masters, grandmasters etc. ? The term "Profession combat arts" refers only to combat arts that each class gets as they level and that can be improved by expert, masters, grandmasters etc. ? Where do abilities a classes receives from AA's fall? Into a separate category or are they considered Profession Abilities or Profession combat arts? Spell or powers that come from Epics 1 or 2 are they in a separate category or are they considered Profession Abilities or Profession combat arts? Advantages & primals that beastlords use are they in a separate category or are they considered Profession Abilities or Profession combat arts? Abilities that channelers use from their 'special hot bar' are in they in a separate category or are they considered Profession Abilities or Profession combat arts? |

100% sure that spells and combat arts gained by leveling are considered profession abilities / spells. This goes all the way back to DoF where we got AA's that blocked / affected only profession abilities. It was done that way on purpose so that the AA's didn't upset balance too much.
95% sure it will also apply to BL / Channeler specials. I'd be curious about the others. I'd say that epic abilities would be profession, since they are unique to each profession. |
