In order to progress my quest I had to talk to Oliver the beta buffer in Mara Frown

This Tradeskill Signature is one of the best we ever done! It's funny, it's reasonable challenge, it has 2 WOW rewards at the end (both cloak and mount are amazing both on stats and appareance!!!).

my 2c for anyone still have to do the entire stuff: dont' be silly like me and pay really attention on almost all the dialogues.
first: cause there are some really hylarious Tongue

second: as I realize after (my entirely fault!), if you don't pay attention on what Npcs says to you in the first place, you may go lost at certain points. All you need to know is in chat not on journal (at least for the crypt and spire steps)

Yeah I went to Oliver and updated the quest. Got a recipe for the incense dispenser but no other recipes. I assume it's like Proof of the Pudding and requires other crafters to make the other items needed for the quest. I found the other pieces on the broker so I'm good to go at this point.

Well, I didn't see this until it was too late. I got all the pages for what I needed and ported back to my guild hall to turn them in. Guess I will have to delete and start over!

Nooo, we love woodworkers! But for some reason, the pages for the Dalnir book (which only woodworkers, carpenters, and provisioners see) don't seem to be spawning at all this morning. People who ARE seeing pages are probably other classes collecting other books. Haven't been able to figure out why yet, but I'll continue looking. In the mean time you can bypass this step by talking to the beta buffer as others have noted. Frown

There was a fix put in for the recipes this morning, so hopefully it's working right now. If it's too late, Domino added the recipe book to Oliver (the beta buffer in Mara and Maldura) so you wouldn't have to be stuck on that part of the quest (deleting won't work since it's a collection...once you complete a collection, it can't be redone (I remembered that the hard way yesterday )).

FYI, if you have to camp mid zone in the Crypt of Dalnir (TS version) for any reason, the zone resets. Just noting this in case it's not intended to be that way.

After zoning back in my Mummified Ganak Noble illusion was gone, and the spell was no longer in my bags. I was able to purchase another one from the broker, but shouldn't the spell stay with us until we finish the zone?

Also, the forge won't activate for me to craft the rune conduit and I have all the materials.

I had no problem getting anyone to trust me in any other expansion without having to do the TS epic, why is it any different now to do the TS quest line in this expansion? I could see if this was for some new Epic but the normal TS quest line? Saddened.

Thanks for the reminder on this as I was going to post about it after the server crash late yesterday afternoon. Thankfully none of these recipes for the quest require rares, so it shouldn't be too expensive to replace if it happens on live.

That reminds me, though - the sellback values on the items is inconsistent, since the sword and shield are marked "No value" and the incense and scroll are not.

Just stand very close to the forge and open your recipe book (N) and start crafting.

I'm convinced that the forge is sulking because of all these non-iksar that have been running up to craft in it. ;D

"The Final Blow" is essentially our Epic quest to upgrade our cloak; it may be marked Signature, but it's really an Epic. You get enough faction to do the dailies/weekly early enough on that you don't have to complete that last big step, so the rest of it is gravy...you can choose to keep going after Lyraquel's quests are done (Brytthel's quest is where the "Epic" part starts), or you can stop there with everything you need to get faction, recipes, and coin/tokens.

(So basically imagine the feather and dialogue text balloon at Brytthel have changed to the fancy epic colors/borders, and it's no longer a "normal" quest. )

Domino Thank you so much for spawning the pages earlier today. However (this is on a carpenter) there may also be a problem with page 2 spawning.

You spawned the shinies and at the end of it all I ended up with:

24 page 4s
26 page 5s
15 page 6s
17 page 7s
27 page 8s
13 page 9s
16 page 10s
17 page 12s

and no page 2 to be had. Hopefully once you figure out why some can't see pages maybe the super shy page 2 will also make an appearance Tongue

I got stuck! Literally STUCK! In an attempt to avoid the wandering goo in Crypt of Dalnir, I moved behind one of the items on the floor ( waypoint: -171.58, 1.26, -242.45) and was completely stuck. A GM zoned in to summon me (a conj) and when she attempted to summon me, it brought her my mystic pet instead. I had to dismiss my pet for her to be able to summon me to her location.

You might want to look at the objects on the floor and figure out a way not to get stuck behind them.

You can circumvent this Verdi, go to Oliver and get the recipe. It updated my quest and was able to move on from there and complete the quest.

Problem found, should be fixed in the next beta update. In the mean time you can skip past this via beta buffer if you wish. (edit to update: Unfortunately looks like beta won't be getting an update today, the next update is expected to be tonight.)

So yesterday my character finished the collection, but didn't receive the recipe, then had a nice GM help me and the recipe was auto scribed yesterday, but after that, I had to log, and today I have no recipe Frown

My toon is a sage and is on the part to work with other artisans to gather items.

tracking is useless for those pages either it doesn't track when it says it is or he X disappears when I get to the spot which has no page. are craftsman borked?

ok just finished the final blow and love hte cloak infact stats are so much better then what I had on that I thought to use it for adventuring as well since I'm 100 in my adventure class. One problem the purple war rune I put on it won't stay when I zone it keeps getting taken off I'm not the only one with this problem it happened to a guildmate of mine on his dwarf Carpenter. I'm on my Half Elf woodworker. My guildmate put in a bug report.

You may also find one particular step a bit slow if you are under adventure level 5, but I think it would be almost impossible for even the most focused character to be under adventure level 5 just from discovery XP by the time they get to this quest. There is also a timed step which I think is currently a little too easy, so feedback is welcome on what an appropriately challenging-but-not-impossible length of time would be.”
