Throw me in for Graphical Design/Armor & Clothing Textures (the highly rumored Great Model Revamp) Inquiring minds want to know if the often-promised ability to create more than one or two texture meshes for each armor type per tier is coming sometime soon.

Ill tip my hat for a discussion on Itemization as well. I would especially be interested in learning what the plans to fix the itemization and over all raid itemizaion progression are in EoF.

T7 raid Itemization & EoF Raid progressionThose are the big ones, but I'd also like to hear about any planned changes for Bards (Troubadors in particular). Specifically, whether there will be instruments or some other mechanism for skill-based buffing for raid bards. The only skill needed by a raid bard these days is in maximizing his dps. I'd like to see a system where we can modify our buffs (or gain powerful short term, long recast buffs similar to Jester's Cap, Bladedance, and Precision of the Maestro).

Topic:  Immersion/Roleplay

Any plans to make the game more immersive and promote more roleplay?

Topic:  Character models, armor, robes, and clothing.  Sexier clothing/armor.

Will we see more variety in the types of clothing, armor, and robes available to characters?  We've all been waiting far too long for answers.  What can we expect to see in the next months?  Why should we play EQ2 when Vanguard releases - it looks to have a much greater variety during its very first release.  Will we ever seen more that one robe model in the game?  The armor/clothes are just so bland, generic, and boring to look at, will we ever see any clothing options that are more revealing i.e chainmail bikinis, sexier robes, ect. and that are more stylized ala Lineage 2?  Will players ever be given the OPTION to have a sexier look instead of the forced puritan look?  Will we have more freedom when it comes to expressing ourselves through our characters with clothing and armor?

GRAPHIC ENGINE UPDATESI can't help but feel that the current engine badly needs an over-haul. For being such an advanced next-gen engine, you'd think it'd give players the ability to wear a hat and show their hair! WoW, FFXI, Lineage and a list of other older games have less restrictions than this one. Anyone notice that all of the armor we have is just the same models re-textured a thousand times? (If you hadn't noticed, ignorance must be bliss.)

I really would like to see a crafting discussion, since clearly most all of the pre LU24 crafters are dissappointed by the changes. I would like to hear from the Devs why they did this, if they believe it worked as they intended, and if there are any changes planned. And of course when do we see craft writs again.

Agreed!!!

Also Graphical Design/Armor & Clothing Textures (the highly rumored Great Model Revamp)

The model revamp specifically, like what is happening and when are we going to reap the benifits of the Dev's hard work. SMILEY

Also . . .along the same lines. I know they do this in a single player game and even our NPC's have this but we don't in our own houses?

FOOD! (such as loaves of bread, fruit bowls, pitchers, pots and pans . . make our homes . . .well . .HOME'S!

I'll add some suggestions SMILEY

Spontaneous, heart-stopping Live/GM events

Unique looking clothing in many varieties and colors,  that maybe show some skin.  Think high fantasy here

Unique looking armor throughout all tiers

Itemization, for every playstyle.  giving crafters a reason to craft again, raiders a reason to raid, etc.

Guild halls

Character model revamp.  Perhaps not new models, just character customization choices for hair style, color, eye color, body size and shape, adornments (jewelry, tatoos, etc)

Well, I'd like to see some info on Graphics and Art, how far along on that work with the character models they are, what types of art they're planning to add in the future, things like that.  Another one would be Class Balance, any sizable changes to any of the classes we may see in the near future

Class Balance -  As mentioned, the predators, Assassin vs Ranger.    I recently betrayed my lvl 60 Ranger over to an Assassin to see what all the hub-bub was about and was quite amazed at the difference in DPS and usefulness between the two.     Night and day.     I haven't heard an explaination yet that sufficiently describes why Rangers have to work like dogs just to match the dps of an Assassin who isnt even trying.Arrows - They cost a lot.    Salvage arrow doesnt provide end game arrow and not enough arrow.     The community has been talking about this for awhile and the Devs have given limited responses that a 'fix is in the works'.     Will we see a fix this year?

While I think that there are alot of things that I would like to see changed.  The main thing I am seeing that has been a big gribe for alot of my friends (myself included) is the look and feel of the game.  Yes, I know looks are nearly insubstantial when it comes to big bugs and whatnot, but adding more armor and some NEW clothing (not the same outfit retouched 50 times) to the game would bring a larger playerbase.  Not to mention would love to see each class having its own hat, rather than classes sharing them.  So here is my vote :

Please oh please discuss armor/weapon mesh and texture,

I was upset zones looked the same in t6-t7 but this is minor vs. all armor and weapons looking pretty much the same. Customization of one's character really needs to be addresed. This shouldn't have even taken so long. I don't even have much unique t7 gear but it would be so cool to know when I get my fabled relic or other it is going to stand out and look special or different without being a carbon copy of t2 aq gear with a different color.. oh wait.. its the same color...

Itemization in relation to quests Far too many totally useless items given as quest rewards (PoF Swiftrider Camp quests anyone?)

Okay folks... the Chat is set for this Thursday... don't forget!

And I've forwarded this thread to the Devs.  Once I receive anything back, I'll be sure to let you know!  In the meantime, keep those suggestions coming.

Thanks!

As we come closer to the release of EoF I'd really like to discuss Echoes of Faydwer Content more than anything. There are still plenty of questions left unanswered that I think need to be addressed.
