Hah too funny! Yea it's not that I don't *like* ability mod, just hard to give up other things for it elsewhere. This is a rare spot where it doesn't take a huge trade off to get ability mod, so I'm on board until Buffrat math's me out of it xD
I can at least say the AE parses will be nice with the right group setup, I just haven't been able to sit down and properly test single target against other classes ![]() |

Ah well, I'm not a raiding player anyway. Nor even much of a Heroics player, for that matter. Seems like a pretty sad state of affairs to perpetuate, but then this is *SOE* balancing.

I'm still hoping for Vaunt to be bumped up or made raid wide, Enfeebling Whirl to 2/3: more dmg, faster cast, better debuff - weakest AE by a LOOOOOOONG SHOT, with one of the worst cast times for no real benefit.
What I expect to be ignored for the years to come: How completely useless Sleight of Hand, Ruthless Cunning, Perfect Finesse and Swarthy Ways myth buff are, how **** Pirate Spin is compared to Highwayman's Advance, and the duck mount request. |

I can't imagine with 4 days left we'll see anything significant, but I had to post one of the saddest things I've seen during beta.
Playing around with the heroic gear on an epic training dummy and this caught my eye: [Fri Nov 07 08:27:52 2014] YOUR Swarthy Chaos hits training dummy for a Mythical critical of 18441 piercing damage. [Fri Nov 07 08:27:55 2014] YOUR Swarthy Chaos hits training dummy for a Mythical critical of 5644 piercing damage. [Fri Nov 07 08:28:32 2014] YOU hit training dummy for a Mythical critical of 542346 heat damage. [Fri Nov 07 08:29:14 2014] Garavic's shadow hits training dummy for a Mythical critical of 27630 crushing damage. [Fri Nov 07 08:29:17 2014] Garavic's shadow hits training dummy for a Mythical critical of 30419 crushing damage. Can we maybe not even let Swarthy Chaos crit so it doesn't waste good rolls for crits? That's just depressing. At this point in the game I can stub my toe and take 20k in damage. |

Yea ... at the very least buff up them debuffs, add %base(small of course) DR or something along the lines so less dmg taken to grp/raid ... The swash is a offensive debuffer yet in the AA trees it shared the good debuffs with the brigand which is defensive...
