Where to get the new apprentice?

I'm gathering new apprentice is in, judging by some pots referring to it, but no mention where to hire one.

There is no new apprentice, just new recipes on the existing apprentices.

I do remember something from SOE Live (The devs would like to add more tradeskill apprentice models). Not sure if it was planned to be part of AoM or something in the works for a future update. Perhaps this is what you are thinking of.

First off please don't take this wrong, because I absolutely love him. BigGrin

That being said he appears to be just a slightly weaker version of Perrin. Is there anything happening under the hood that is going to make him or any of the new mercs more viable with the new content? I'd much rather have Raffik at my side, but given the state of current mercs I probably would need to keep Perrin.

I stopped the quest because i was not getting the recipes and i was afraid of breaking it completely ;-)

Kander created the actual merc, so I would suggest you send your suggestions to him, I'm sure he'll be happy for feedback.

And Kalika, nothing will break, the empty recipe books are known and were called out in the update notes. When the recipes are added they'll just magically appear. (They were checked in yesterday so should be appearing any day now.)

Aww, I'd had hoped you'd get more of a vote. Obviously the tradeskill merc should be best in the game! Nothing over powered of course... Maybe just harvest for us, bring back foundations and cookies Smile

What sort of time delay is there between when you finish the level 100 quest, and when he is available to hire? I know it is more than several minutes, but haven't nailed it down more than that.

I am having a small problem with the filtering on Raffik's recipes I have a filter where I selected all his Recipe Books and it come up blank. I have checked and I have the recipes.

Good to see you back in EQ again.
