Love the graphics and the theme! Signature quests and tradeskill questline went smoothly although a little confusing keeping mount quest separate from the others. You did a great job with the story line and making the quests fun!! I was disappointed when SF came out because I felt the quests were shallow and repetitive but you put quality time into the quests this time and I thank you!

I am not saying it's hard to play one I am saying that there should be more things done for enchanters.

Well, this is a good sign. I'm not doing the beta cause I generally have no desire to do a quest after I've already done it. So, I only want to do them once on live. Only my main is max adventure level and the rest are crafters. I will be doing the Tradeskill quests 6 times though.

Both are really well done Mysstie. And the Islands are new and fresh, they used a bit of old assets but all of them I found made sense in the story, and for every old asset used they created 10 new. A lot of hard work and love was put into AoM by the EQ2 team and it shows.

Having finished the signature line in the wee hours of the morning, I will say I thoroughly enjoyed the story. There were some dungeons (and especially boss fights) that were way too difficult for what is flagged as "solo" content (not even advanced solo), but others that were quick and simple, and some that had mechanics that were just fun (I liked the platforming named in Castle Highhold; my friend not so much).
Some things in the storyline I am sure are going to be leads to later content, and I certainly hope there will be more content added later for other things. For example, the name of the xpac is Altar of Malice and yet the Primordial Malice make up a very, very small part of the signature quest line. I suppose the heroic and raid content focuses more on that? Overall the xpac seems to me like a balance of extremes. The stuff that is right is fantastic. The stuff that isn't - that's bugged, or too difficult for the advertised target audience, or so vague only a few people seem to have figured it out - is frustrating to the point of keyboard-smashing rage. And that's a problem, especially when just about every bit of questing content is part of or related to the signature line, so getting stuck on one of these issues means there is nothing else to do in the new zones. And I remain convinced that if this stuff is what the devs now mean when they say solo, then the ability to use mercenaries needs to come off the marketplace and be included content. |

Thing I'm worried about is if much of the expansion requires the completion of ToV Signature Quest. I just could never get it the mood to finish that pita quest line.
