Heya !

I haven't been able to find any post concerning how the avoid works between tanks when you have multi avoid buffs on a single tank.

Let's say 3 tanks in a raid setup :
Tank 1 (MT)
Tank 2 using its class avoid skill on Tank 1
Tank 3 (Guardian) using "Moderate" (which has the same effect as a class avoid buff + hate reduction)

The Tank 1 (MT) should have 2 buffs to avoid melee attack on it.
Does it stack? Does the MT try to avoid, then Tank 2 try to avoid and finally Tank 3 try to avoid?

There is also a miracle or something in Bristlebane deity, allowing you to avoid someone.
I will do some tests when I have a moment, but if someone already did it and notice a difference...

The avoidance buff of tanks cancel each other (each tank has one of these spells).
In your example:
Tank 1 has avoidance from tank 2 buffed on him. He can't cast his avoidance on anybody. It will just cancel the buff put on him from tank 2.
tank 3 can cast his avoidance on anybody but tank 1 (already has one on him) or tank 2 (he has his one cast on someone).

That's why I took Guardian as 3rd tank.
I know how "class avoidance buff work", but Guardians have "Moderate" which is most of time only use as a deaggro on someone in the group, but it also has the exact same effect that "specific avoidance buff" each class has.

As Guardian, you can cast both "Never Surrender" and "Moderate" on the same target (if in the same group of course) if you wish. This target will have 2 "avoidance buff" on him.

It is in this case (or the example in my first post), to know how it works.

It should technically stack like Shield Ally and a fighter avoidance buff stacks, I assume. Don't know for sure though. Try it.

Ok, did some tests on 5min+ duration fights.

Group: Zerk (as MT) - Templar - Bruiser - Guardian

Bruiser using its avoiding skill on the zerk, the Templar using Shield ally on the zerk and the Guardian using Moderate on the zerk.

These 3 skills stack but it seems that there is a priority order.
  • Moderate seems go be the first "check" after the MT avoidance,
  • Shield ally from the templar
  • and the class avoiding skill the last.

Will do an other test with a fifth person with the Bristlebane blessings to see if it stacks.
