Build 11463
After today's patch, this quest arrived in email, and there are a couple things wrong with it. 1) The mail offers you the "Shipwrecked!" quest. Accept it and it tells you to place the bottle in your home and read the message. However, there is no bottle provided. 2) The reward is a recipe scroll for level 2 artisans called "Blessing of the Prime". The recipe book has 0 recipes in it. |

Some of what is in today's patch notes did not go in. The following was in the notes, but does NOT fix the problem with the bottle not being obtained. I'm guessing next build ... maybe?

Agreed.
And in trying to make it work, I deleted the mail ... didn't get a resend. |

The quest is level 5, which seems unusual given the level of the expansion.

Apparently the message in a bottle did not, in fact, get added yet. I've fixed that and the mail should get re-sent when it gets to beta.
Also, not sure what happened to the update note for this questline but it was supposed to read:

Just to be clear when I start writing my fingers off - not tied to the expansion, but likely to get released at the same time?
Thanks! |

Just fyi, when I saw the message and quest last night (and it's level), I completely missed that the reward was a recipe book and thought that maybe the bottle was actually supposed to be one we had sent before being rescued by the FSTC - the original IoR start. I'd hoped maybe the bottle would actually temporally warp us back to then!

Still no bottle after deleting the quest, and re-reading from mail.

Hiya Domino...just logged in and got the newly resent mail, but still no bottle attached. I deleted the first mail and reopened the new one, but no joy.
I'll try zoning and see if that wakes up the Norrathian Postmaster...maybe he just needed some coffee or jumjum juice. :^) UPDATE: No joy after zoning. If it helps, I tried on another toon, and no bottle there either. On the first, I opened my mail out in the world; second, I used an actual mailbox in case that was the problem...same result: no bottle. |

Did you actually add the quest? It's accepting the quest that should add the bottle.

![]() I received the bottle after accepting the quest, though I had to rummage since I'd forgotten that alt had quest items going in a different bag. Love the graphic! (Edit: Though, as I suspect you already know, we're all being dumped to the same zone, then getting booted out for exceeding the zone limits ![]() |

Placed the bottle in my house, teleported to the Shipwrecked! zone and immediately got the message "you will be kicked from this zone in approximately 10 seconds" for being over capacity. It was just Mum and I in there! Too many halflings policy?
![]() Bug report sent in, as well. |

![]() Yeah same here for me looks like you can only have one person in the zone. at a time. But you have No ideal how many people are there in till you zone in. |

![]() Deleting the old quest then reading the mail again did the right thing, and my bottle is now safely in hand. |

It appears to be intended as a solo instance but everyone is in the same instance. Makes it kind of interesting to try to do a step before being kicked out.

As others said, today I got the bottle & the quest just fine. However, I did get the instance kick because there were two other people already in there with me.

I take it the "oops" is either making it a "solo instance" and we all create our own instance (which it currently isn't doing)
![]() Or it wasn't meant to be a solo instance and they need to up the number allowed in the zone ![]() |

Went in today, and had no issue completing Shipwrecked. Maybe I was the only one in there, as I didn't see anyone else. I followed the next quest in the line (Castaway) and ran into problems at the end of it. I sent in a bug report, but here it is as well:
At the end of the quest Castaway, I make two Globe of Homecoming spells and give one to Raffik. The end dialogue, he says, "But goodbyes for now." and the quest ends with a 5 silver reward. There is no exit from the island, and the globe of homecoming is a scroll with no actual recipe attached. I scribed it, but nothing went into my recipe book, and the rubble that I clicked on to take me out to Enchanted Lands at the end of the first quest (Shipwrecked) was no longer there. I have to use call to home or guild hall to get off the island. Raffik still stands there, but says nothing to me. |

Continuing the quest line, I'm finding a few minor things that I'm sure will be fixed.
1. Quest: Piratical Fashion - the reward recipe, Harvester's Balm, is an empty scroll, no recipe for my book. 2. Quest: Adorning the Pirate - the reward recipe, Mutagenic Essence, is an empty scroll, no recipe for my book. 3. Quest: Encompassing Goal - haven't finished it yet, was in the middle of harvesting the raws when a server down was imminent, so logged out. However, this quest starts in Steamfont, but asks for raw materials from the next tier (Sinking Sands, etc.). Not sure if that is intended. Previously, I was using the raw materials harvested in the zone the quest was given in. Will continue testing later, after raid tonight. |

![]() You don't need to report the empty scrolls. As per Domino, the recipes aren't made yet and will be done later. ![]() |
