Wow, what a great time it was last night! The welcome reception with Jace Hall was great and the late night gaming session was fun to hang out.  The fact that we got to participate in the podcast was really fun!  Those girls know how to throw a good podcast if you ask me!

Overall it was fun, my only complaint is that Brenlo > Jace Hall.

I think they should try to get Felicia Day or Mark Hamil for next year.

TOTALLY. Though Brasse did an amazing job I'd say, really had the feel of Fan Faire. Jace Hall, seemed like we were there for his benefit to make an internet music vid and watch his promo's. We were discussing on our table that we were expecting to watch a directors commentary version of the latest V series (that might not have been too bad actually) after all his other stuff. Ok, we get it. You make telly programs and used to run a games company. Don't want to be too negative about him, but if he could keep the self promotion down a bit, and talk a bit more on target about Fan Faire, I think he's got potential for next year.

I couldn't say for sure what his motives were, but there's always the possibility that it was money LOL.  It was nice to have the opportunity to yell "YOU SUCK!" at him, though.

All in all, this was my first Fan Faire, and I enjoyed it immensely.  I thought Brasse was great.  The costume contest was a bigger joy than I had imagined.  I had an amazing time at the banquet, pool party, live quest, meeting some of the folks on various forums face to face... it was all a laugh, more fun than I've had in a long time.  I'm scheming for next year already.

Jaspy had a blast. He'll have a tough act to follow next year if he actually goes. If he doesn't...don't forget your DS.
