![]() I am a new DAD!!!would it be possible to bring my Son with me, he will be 10 months old at the event time. would i need to buy a third pass for him? would i be able to bring him to the after hour events? My Wife will be coming on her account as well, so that is why he would have to come along. |

Slightly less excited that it's back to Bally's, but only slightly.

Best thing to do is keep shopping around. And if you're a night owl, check late at night (both for flights and rooms, and for flight/room combos); that is often when discounts come about. If you've been to any Harrah's casino before , or have one local to you, go sign up for a Player's card. That will automatically give you a discount when you book a room. Usually SOE's group rate is similar if not slightly more expensive than the player's club rate. Fan Faire tickets usually have an All Access pass for the 70-80$ range (discounted if 10+ guildmates show up), and day passes in the 40-50$ range IIRC. The Day passes are only good for the day, and may not let you get into some events. All Access passes will get you into almost everything. And for the person with the baby, I think baby's would be free, but probably wouldn't be allowed in some events (primarily the evening party event when they have the open bar). You'll have to wait for official word from SOE of course.

![]() Happy its back in Vegas but not happy about the different event passes. Just seems like a way to milk more money out of us. For the baby, the first FF we brought our 3 month old son and no pass was need. However, we were not allowed to do any of the events that was 21 and over. We stopped bringing the kids so we could enjoy ourselves a bit more. Well, guess we will see you guys in Vegas! |

Yeah I see the pricing plans now. And it doesn't look like a guild discount either any more. Don't really see much difference between Gold and Silver to make that worthwhile; I'll have to wait and see what the Platinum event is before I sign up in any case.

You won't need a ticket for him... As for the after hours event I am not sure yet. Last year we didn't have an issue with under 21 because we had wrist bands. It will be loud so you may not want to bring him to the after hours event. Congratulations on your new Gamer! |

How the developer forums/roundtables are structured will determine whether or not I go. Is the format broken down somewhere in a meaningful place, including the level of purchased access? I am very interested in discussing issues surrounding the enchanter class in SF. If there is an opportunity to discuss this via forum or roundtable, I will attend. |

Baised on Past years, the Forums are broken down into verious 1 hour secions, that start with a basic overview of what the that particular forum is about, for the more techincal/behind the certain ones this may take the full hour, you'll know by the discriptions wich ones these are. For the more Basic ones usually it is a few minutes of intro maybe a brief where we are going season, followed by a Q/A session that takes the remainer of the hour, but questions need to be limited to the topic of the forum. With EQ2 they generally also have one "Anything Goes" type panel that last year was scheduled for 2hours and aside from Dev intros was all Q/A from the attendees. However, if you have detailed and specific questions to ask the forums really arn't the best way to get those types of answers, instead the Devs generally hang out afterwords in the halls and you can ask those questions then, or if you see them in the Legonds Lounge or at the meet and greets you can also talk to them about the game. Just don't be rude or abrasive, also the way Fan Faire is scheduled they don't have alot of free time, especally the community reps like Kiara or Ashlanne so if they look busy, are walking fast, or eating it maybe a good idea to let them be. |

I'm a Mom and Gramma and I would not recommend bringing the baby. This will be my 4th Fan Faire so I speak from experience. The evening events are parties with loud music and drinking. The daytime workshops are mostly question and answer sessions that are already sometimes hard to hear. If the baby was fussy, you would just have to leave. To get the most of your experience, find a sitter if possible, or... bring one along with you so that you can leave the baby with them while you party. |

At some point prior to the pre-registration closing they generally release what the in-game items will be. So if you save up now, but wait to register until that anouncment then you won't have to worry about what it is. If that is your only reason for attending(or just registering) that is. |
