![]() My squeals of delight could be heard for quite a distance, I'm sure, when I saw the Arcane Winds and the Trader's Blessing on the marketplace. Just what I've been wanting! Snapped up one of each right away, just to check out the variations --might be having to place an order for a whole fleet. Now if we could just get one of those little rafts that travel back and forth in New Halas, and program these rafts to travel between our chosen coordinates... /runs off to play with shiny new toys

![]() In this picture, is that full scaled or in between? Seems a little unproportionate to you character. Synestra - AB server |

![]() I thought it was a nice gesture for those who just want the artwork. But I want ships I can decorate, live in, go inside, explore, etc. A true Galleon hopefully one day. But this also reminded me of the one thing we still can not do: buy or make ships and sail the seas! Maybe we will see it in EQ3 like in other games. Until then I guess I have to get my sea sailing fix from PotBS. |

![]() The standard size, if you were to just whip them out of your bags and place them, appears to be the same size as the ships that come up to the docks. They are huge. The ones in this picture seem to have been scaled down a bit. I don't know how small they go - I downsized mine a great deal because at full size it was "owning" the water. Maybe to half the size of what you see in the picture. I think it can go smaller - not sit on a shelf size - but somewhat smaller still. I didn't try to upscale it. It was already dominating my whole vale at full size |

![]() I just about exploded with glee when I saw these, and purchased one right away to put off the dock of Tock's little island. I'm a bit sad that the ship-at-sea zone wasn't made into a prestige housing zone instead, but I can hope for the future! Perhaps they just thought it was a bit too much unlike a "home" to be useable or something conceptual like that. Perhaps there's a technical reason they couldn't do it. Whatever the reason, I hope we eventually get it, so I can install the portal to it into the ship at some point. Hop on the ship, click, and go for a sail! But these ships do make me happy. I've already got an idea for one in my current project involving The Spider tavern.

![]() *faints from sheer happiness** I saw this when travelling back from work on the bus last night and squeed. Out loud. That actual sound, as written. 'Squeeeeeee'. On. The. Bus. Oooops. Tock@Antonia Bayle wrote:
I don't think these ships are any less 'home'like than the Skyblade Skiff! - though I suppose as that was the very first Prestige Home of any kind that the argument is a bit weakened. I'm sure that these ships will be incorporated into 'home' concepts anyway (anyone here seen the use of beached ships as architectural elements in GW2? mmmm. Like that.) It would be utterly amazing if we got a ship with interior rooms sometime, but I suspect that's quite a way further down the line. Until then, I'm overjoyed with these - even if it means I'm going to be forced to buy YET ANOTHER house to do them justice (I didn't have a Vale yet. I'd managed to convince myself I didn't need to get ANY MORE until I'd decorated at least half of what I already had. Obviously, I was wrong.) * Knowing Kaian, that's not a faint, and he's passed out under the table in a stupor from an excess of celebratory rum. |
