Step: Return Lania to Riishu

returned to Riishu in the start camp and you get a ding but the quest doesnt progress any. if i talk to him again he just gives the same dialog.

Hmm... I'm not having this problem.  Can you tell me what your quest journal is saying right now?  That'll help me debug it.

i found her the first time, she looked to be runing north towards camp. after that i pretty much searched teh whole zone without success.

okay i deleted the quest and got it again,

this time i find her and she runs off like normal. then i find her again at -128, 0, 379 and the quest says to defend her.

there is nothing to defend her from and no update.

there should be 2 lizardmen right there. after u kil those u can return to camp

actually it only updated the drinal quest. still can't get reward from riishu. so there is a bug here

When you go to find her again nothing spawns to defend her.

Same thing - deleted the quest since it wasn't completing and now nothing pops to defend her from.

I am at the "Defend Lania" stage, and no mobs are attacking her, so the quest will not update.

i got as far as to defend her and then nothing no update or anything

Blargh, I'll look at this one first thing in the morning.  They're just standard mobs, so I don't know why they wouldn't be spawning for you guys.

Still having issues with this quest. I spoke to the lady and she ran, I found her again and step says to defend her but no mobs are spawning so cannot complete.

Checked in a speculative fix for this.  I think the reason it was breaking is that for some reason, the creatures in question were only spawning once, then not respawning after they were killed.  It looks like it's working now, but then, it did before too (because apparently lizardmen aren't very good at doing what I ask).

Let me know if you're still seeing this again tomorrow.

Worked. Kinda. Walked up and the 2 lizards were up. Killed them. Spoke to Lania. Lizards spawned again. killed them. Started walking away, they spawned again, killed them, then was out of range.

I am on this quest, and am on the step "return lania to riishu" and when I hail rishu he brings up quest dialog like, I did what the quest was asking me to do, but nothing happens. I can hail him again and get the same message.

I had the same problem. When I talked to her the second time she vanished and it updated and said to return her to Riishu. I flew back and and went through the dialog with him a few times and nothing

I'm getting the same as the last 2 posters above, on the step - Return Lania to Riishu when she disappeared after I killed her attackers, I went back to Riishu and tell him she's with me but it doesn't update.

her defenders now pop multiple times.  when you get to Riishu, she thanks you etc., but no actual quest update.

SAme as Above, Return to Risshu, but RIishu doesnt seem to finihs the quest, i can go through chat multiple times

I returned Lania to Riishu and got the quest update "ding", but my journal still says to return her.  The quest is still showing as active in my journal.

Finishing the quest is updating the Shade of Drinal: Shores of the Everafter signature quest and not completing the Stronger then Death quest.

Same as above - defended her and when returned to Riishu get a ding like quest was completed but does not actually complete the quest and just keeps repeating same thing over and over.

I submitted bug report on this twice upon two different tries, but will add here too in case it helps.

I do the whole thing, get to last step, talk to him to bring Lania back, he thanks me etc...seems like end, but quest does not update.

So, after trying a few times, I delete the quest, and start again. I find her first time, find her second time, she acts like the mob is about to spawn, but never does. Tried talking to her a few times. Stuck there

Should note though, the first time I did this quest, the mobs kept spawning over and over (when protecting her), at least 3 times, and I did not see her following me after killing them all. But the dialogue from hubby indicates he is getting her back, though the quest wouldn't update.  Hope that made sense.

Short Version:

First time == turn in quest, no update.

Second time ==mobs won't spawn.

Edit==P.S. I returned again after the update, the mobs spawn (perhaps camping did it and/or time)...and went to turn in, the husband thanks me and responds...seems to end, but quest never updates. So, back to square one. Leaving this one open as is until fix.  Hoping third time will be the charm

Kk, I checked in fixes for this.  The one where the lizardmen aren't popping up should be in, but the one for Riishu not updating the final part of the quest isn't in yet.  That missed the cutoff.  You'll see that in the next update.
