finally want to play my EQ2 toons and what do I get......

My Human Inqu looks like a green skinned DE from MARS and I cannot change it back.  She is on the alternate setting for her features.

When I click the Alternate Settings she is correct for all of 3 SECONDS then Refreshing CharacterList she goes back to looking like a green skinned DE from Mars.

If I want a green skinned toon I'll make an Orion Slave Girl in STO.

I have 4 toons I am not touching the other 3.

How is this fixed? If it cannot be fixed you lost 2 Accounts.

0o, silly question, but do you have an illusion on? Maybe get a screen shot up so people can see what you are talking about?

There is no reason for a panic. You can switch from one model to another inside the game through options.

Well, there shouldn't be any green skinned humans in the game in either model.

1. no illusions on, thanks for asking

2. Under options all I have is to turn on the alternate settings, which is already turned on. Of course unless I am missing something :/

I would attach a picture but I cannot get the "insert/edit image" feature to work.  Will keep trying.

Only way to get her on is by Avatar.

This is supposed to be a plae skinned, stocky human with a reddish updo, Swordmaiden or something like that.

I believe there is something amiss with this.

edited for addtl info

Uncheck all boxes for all races and accept and see what happens. The try to check in a box of your char race. Make sure you are checking in the right one. All that half and high are confusing SMILEY see what happens. Again uncheck... I have a soga model and alternative model set for a high elf. Checking and unchecking in a box works for all the time

I agree there shouldn't be green humans but... try not to get upset... work around it. Options should help

1. Nope driver is ok, Can play other games with no issues.

2.  Well to see my girls as they were ment to be I have to turn OFF Alternate appearances in the options menu in game. It seems you can't see the alternate appearances if your toon is not that way.  That bites.  I enjoy seeing what the other toons in the game look like.

Thanks for the help.

orion slave girls? woot, i played that game too, just often as once a week, STO is nice game, but it getting old fast, it was those lockboxes drove me away. it borderline as "gambling"

ok, back to topic, there is "barber shop", or avatar potion that was recently mailed in-game that you can change.

hope that helps.

by the way (off-topic), Star Trek's producers are still in early stage for new tv series and they hopefully will launch new tv series on 2016, after 3rd Abram's Star Trek movie, 2nd is due in 2013, so it make "50 year anniversary" for Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek on 2016. sort of tribute to "Forbidden Planet" inspiration.

I'm not understanding what you are saying here.

If you mean you have your character in one set of models but wish to view other people (of the same race) in a different model, you are going to have to change between them. There is no option to show your character as a specific model ignoring other people's personal settings or have other players force others to view them in a specific model. So you will always see other people's characters in whichever model you have selected. You can however, pick and choose which race & sex you see in either model.

You can also customize the other model for your character so that it resembles what you actually want as closely as possible.
