![]() Please give us a way to bypass that dance. I hate doing that quest because of the dance -- I always fail and it seem as if you fail once the game continually fails you. Please give us a way to bypass it. |

![]() Practice Memorize the buttons, and just watch the chat or the visuals of the dancers and copy what they do. If you get a step wrong, don't try and correct it, just wait until they tell you what to do next. Easy |

![]() I've found this year way easier than I did last year, I had 6 toons to practice it on then and now I finally got it. Only follow the order, even if you get behind still only press the order they have said them in. You don't have to wait for one move to finish just click the next one straight after. If you get one wrong do not try to correct it just continue with the next one. The only prob can be if you get too behind you have a lot more moves to remember the order of. |

![]() What worked for me: When you get the dance icons, arrange them alphabetically on an empty hotbar in 1 2 3 4 spots. Use the hotbar spinner to make the one with the icons the primary (able to use the number keys). Watch what they say and hit the key as quick as you can. Using the fingers instead of clicking seems to be easier (just like tradeskilling) See if that works for you

![]() I actually made macros of the dance steps with an icon that visually let me associate the move with the icon better. So "spin" I used the target icon. Down has the finger pointing down. Etc. Then I use the numeric keypad to trigger the moves. I will say that in the days when I had a satellite modem I was often unable to do the dance, just due to the inherent latency.

![]() the best way i found to do it for me at least was to move all four skills to an empty page of my knowlege book in a sqaure shape with the chat bubbles of the dancers at the top of the screen with my pointer in the middle of all four skills after a couple of tries i got used to where the buttons were for each move and did it easily enough. |

This is what I do and it works every time. The quest is still old though and not much fun anymore. I wish they'd change it up by opening some different rooms and changing the story a bit. Why not use the Qeynos update, Ironforge family issues as a starting point? I love the seasonal stuff, but it would be so much cooler if it kept up with what's going on in Norrath or just changed in more drastic ways each year. There are so many spooky places around Norrath that we could visit different areas each year with a little bit of effort and planning. Zombies rising out of the swamps in Moors, a full-blown vamp attack in LP, an angry forest in Gfay, mummy problems in SS etc. Same goes for Frostfell and the other holidays, it would be a great way to get people to visit under-used / older areas.

![]() I watched my 12yo do this for the first time the other day. He did fail a few times then started just saying what each move was out loud and clicked them from his knowledge book. For me, I have them on a hotbar of their own and memorized the order they're given to us. Between each "cycle" of moves (every 4 moves) I repeat to myself the order in which the abilities are again. It is a really outdated script though and I'd love to see it shortened or changed. |

![]() I always just put them on a hotbar in a specific order that works for me (just so happens to be down/spin/back/sway as 1234). If you have a spare hotbar just stick them on that, if you don't just do a /savehotkeys main (or whatever name you want to call it) and then stick them in the first four slots of your main hotbar. Spend a moment remembering which spot you put them in if this is your first time then use the number pad for the abilities as you do the dance. I never have to look anywhere but the chat box where the dance moves are announced. This works really well for me & my kid, I have yet to fail using this method and my son only failed the first time he tried. |

![]() I usually fail 3-4 times on each try. I hate it -- especially when they go faster. |

![]() The important thing is to keep track of where you are and push 4 buttons each "set", even if they are the wrong buttons. If you hit the wrong button it's no big deal, you can fail almost half of them and still pass. But if you miss a button compleatly (or hit one too many) then all the rest will be out of sync and won't count as passes. (Except for the 25% or so that happen to be right anyway.) |

![]() I order them on a hotbar as Back, Down, Spin, Sway (alphabetical) in the 1-4 positions. I then put two left-hand fingers on 1 and 2 and two right-hand fingers on 3 and 4. Memorized which is what and also say them out loud as they happen. After the first time where I tend to mess up being out of practice, I'm usually perfect thereafter with each toon. I like the idea of making a macro icon that looks more like the move as well. Whatever works.. our brains work in different ways. |
