Returning player

Heyah folks,

Been gone for the better part of a year, and wanted to come back in full swing, its been a long while and I've forgotten how to play most of my characters, and wanting a fresh start, so basically its a typically "what class" kind of thread.

The main question is, i have an idea of which classes are in high demand end game

(Paladins/tanks, Dirge, Coercer/illy, etc etc)

But the question I'm mulling over is which of those classes is best suited for end game soloing, as in heroic content, etc etc.

As well as welcome with open arms into groups/raids ?

Are there even still raids going on these days or are mercs allowing people to plow through everything without raids now ?

also, any new progression guilds moving up in the world ? or a smaller guild with very active people doing raids/groups that is looking for particular classes ?

Paladins made that list? Try again.

For soloing, Zerker, SK and Pally. For raid and group desirability consider dirge and coercer. Out of those two the dirge is much better for soloing if you have a healer merc. DPS classes are still desirable but with hardmode content it becomes harder and harder to group with you dps toons unless their well geared. Nobody ever wants rangers anymore, that's the only exception. I'm not sure why that is because they still have formidible dps...

Dirge seems to be the toon for you based off of what your asking. Perhaps even consider a swashbuckler or brigand.

Raids - ofcoarse. Mercs are a good for soloing stuff, thats about it.

Cant help ya there. Perhaps state the server(s) your interested in, look at the recruitment thread or go to eq2flames and search DOV progression by the server.
