I finally decided I was finished with Perrigrin's Halfpint Vale home. I was running late this afternoon so couldn't post screens yet, but I will when I get home from work. It is published on the housing leaderboards on Crushbone under medium homes, titled Summertime in the Shire. Check it out if you have an empty toon slot, and I'll post some pics in a couple hours when I get home.

As you first enter the Vale and look to your left you see a huge deck.

Campfire area, great for warming up after a nice swim, and roasting marshmallows!

A functioning swimming pool! I've always wanted a swimming pool in game you can actually swim in, so I took advantage of all the water in this home and made one. Filtered freshwater of course, for those that don't like to swim in the salty ocean

And after a nice dip in the pool, let's go soak in the hottub!

For your convenience, there is a changing tent with towels hanging to dry off, and a nice spread of goodies.

Gah forgot to hide my UI on some of these, sorry!

Thank the gods for the layout editor, this rowboat took me about 3 days of fiddling before I was finally satisfied enough to call it done:

Here we come to the front of the Hobbit hole (more visible UI fail, try to ignore it lol)

The garden:

And what's this? Why it's the Aqua-purifying Irrigationator 4000! It takes the salt out of the ocean water to send fresh water to keep the garden growing strong! If you visit the Vale, you'll see the "water" appears to be moving thanks to the misty fog tiles SMILEY

Inside the little house is the living area and the kitchen:

There is a nice cozy guest cottage up in the tree house. Of course I bought the treehouse, but I did build the bridge!

The ancient Halflings who previous inhabited this island paradise must have been Druids, as evidenced by the ring they left behind:

A tranquil double fountain built on a rocky prominence: I used 2 different kinds of fountains here to make it appear that one is emptying into the other:

And what summertime getaway would be complete without a nice shady spot to share a lovely picnic and relax?

You did a wonderful job! I loved my visit and especially enjoyed your wagon, the bridge to the treehouse, and the water system to the garden. Fabulous!

You must have had so much fun working on this project because it shows in your pictures.  I do wish I could visit in person - perhaps one day.

You know what, I really did! It was the first time really doing any kind of work with the editor, and while parts of it were frustrating, I'm really happy with the finished product. Depending on how much root beer I can get crafted tonight, I'm thinking of putting in a shell garden on the back section.

So well-done!  I do love the freshwater pool, the rowing-boat and the Irrigationator in particular.  A perfect retreat!
