![]() Before EQ2 went F2P, I had 11 character slots that were unlocked and had characters already created in them all. I logged into the game today (F2P) and have only 10 slots unlocked. The 11th slot is locked as is the character that is in the slot (says I have to PAY to unlock it). However, I DID pay to unlock it BEFORE EQ2 went F2P. So, why is it locked and telling me I need to pay for it again? Also, I paid for the "Age of Discovery" expansion before EQ2 went F2P, and it is installed on my computer, yet I can't play my Beastlord? Why not? Because I am playing the F2P Eq2? But I PAID for the expansion...? I even have in-game proof that I paid for it - I have ALL of the items that came WITH the expansion - my Beastlord character, all of the gear, dungeon maker items, Lavastorm Home for all my characters, I have tradeskill apprentices in each of my character's homes, I have access to Mercinaries, etc... |

![]() I'm having a similar problem. I haven't changed anything related to my account standing/settings for the longest time. The other day I log in and one of my character slots is locked (saying I need to pay to open it up). A couple more days pass and they lock ANOTHER character. Same message - need to pay to unlock it. What am I missing here? I haven't changed my payment method or account level on this account.. ever. Why would it start locking my characters one at a time all of a sudden? Submitted a ticket, but haven't heard back yet |

![]() thanks Sean-- Just a quick reply to let you know they've resolved the issue. It appears that it was a glitch with battlegrounds. In short, entering into the battlegrounds doubled as another slot, which then locked current characters or removed open character creation slots to compensate. It made sense as I have entered the BGs with only 3 characters, and I had 3 slots total either locked or removed. Just thought I'd put this out there in case anyone else is having similar issues. Contact support (as suggested) and they should be able to take care of it for you. |
