New Kid Models

From what I've seen so far in the Qeynos Revamp (The reason this thread is here and not in look and feel),  they look great, I can tell they are redone Mara models, but that is no biggy.

However Nathan is still using the CREEPY Shrunken Human model (Haven't seen Molly Daysun yet to see if she is still a creepy shrunken model nor Orpheus over in Freeport)

I know both Molly and Nathan are used in an Epic Quest-line, also that Nathan had a Plushy on the Station Cash (all the MORE reason to update his model and make it unique)

Something to consider before pushing this to live.

Nathan Ironforge was weirding me out as well. He's a Human male adult, but he's smaller than my Halfling!

Also, the random children (like around the N/S Qeynos zoneline) are creepy. They shine slightly. o_o

While I am glad we finally have real kids outside of Mara & a couple other random kids, some of them are pretty creepy looking.

Little Bart who is part of the Human racial quest has some serious weirdness going on with his neck area and the lighting on him seems odd, making him look WAY older in some ways than he is supposed to be.

I've seen the neck weirdness (kind of twists & stretched looking when he is looking up at you) on several of the kids around town.

Still great to have them, a few more tweaks & I think they'll be great.

Woooow, im laughing out loud. I just scrolled down and looked down at my cell phone only to look up at the screen of the little boy, and legit jumped and said omg out loud!

Think its amazing that they have added children to the city, even the ones that will give me nightmares!

Oh my.... I had my kids standing behind me when I scrolled past that picture of the little boy. I started laughing so hard I cried, and my 12 year old is just standing there saying "What the ...." LOL

shoot .. I may have to reload up Test to check this update out prior to release but this guy is kinda cute.  I love the freckles and upturned nose. Bring to mind a white hair version of the kid from Little Rascals, the one that had that piece of hair sticking straight up.. always in trouble/etc .. Someone just needs to lower his eyebrows a wee bit and give him fuller lips instead of the thinned ones, to tweak down the manic look.  Probably some kind of random gen on facial choices would be my guess.  The neck is probably a bit more problematic .. think someone would need to go in and manually adjust the tonal qualities of the shading to make it less like someone on steriods.

When I played WoW several years ago and saw the kid models in Stormwind and from some adoption event (can't even remember the name it's been so long) I'd been secretly hoping that one day Nathan Ironforge and all the other EQ2 "miniature adult" kids would have their own models, so here's still hoping even if they do look a little creepy.

The good news is that the models got some work done today.  A future update should reflect this!

One thing is odd through, on my system he has dark blond or light brown hair.

Yeah the neck needs fixing and the face needs re-skinning to look younger, also he has a Deep adult male voice when hailed.

Still he is a LOT less creepy than Nathan Ironforge and his Shrunken human body. I still haven't seen Molly Daysun around (nor have I popped over to Freep to see if Orpheus is also still a shrunken Human)

Molly Daysun: If you haven't placed her back in game yet, she SOOO needs to be in Elddar Grove  with a pet tiger and her as a Beastlord in training!

Instead of "Comback Kitty" she would be with a Tiger and a Training Dummy with (a sign with Nathen Ironforge's Name on the head) "Attack Kitty!"

Or am I being too evil?

Orpheus isn't around anymore. Neither is Lord Oinkles. I wish they'd put both of them back.

Yeah, not sure why Creepy McCreeperson has white hair on my computer. In fact, most of the kids have white hair (to me)..

I thought I remembered seeing Orpheus somewhere that and they possible moved Oinkles to a static location. (I know they moved the pig in QH to SQ's Horse dealer.)
