![]() As the title says the loot from Lyceum of the Recondite [Challenge] is completely disproportionate to the zone or even the other skyshrine loot. The green stats are way too low and most of the blue stats are low as well. In the screenshot below, the legendary neck comes from the normal mode of Lyceum and the fabled neck comes from Termagore challenge mode. The first charm comes from trash in Covenant District [Challenge] and it is appropriately statted, the second charm on the far right came off the end boss of Lyceum challenge, as you can see the green stats are very low as well as the pot/cb, multi attack, and crit compared to the other challenge mode charm. These are just a few examples, the mage wrist and ring? we got last night had a similar issue with the stats being low, unfortunately I don't have a link handy to those items. |

![]() Yeah this definitely needs to get bumped. The same problem the OP made with Lyceum Challenge is the same with Covenant District Challenge as well. I'm not as tech savy as the OP so I don't exactly know how to image link the items, but I got a ring that has the 122 to stats and lower blue stats then a heroic version of it from normal Covenant District. Its basically the same as the OP's neck comparrisons (which yes is totally jacked up) I petitioned it, but have yet to get a response. =/ Hopefully a red name will see the OP's post and take a look at the disproportionate loot that the HM instances' of Sky Shrine are dropping. ![]() HM Ring only has 121 Str/Sta/Agi, and has 14% MA and 12% DPS/Atk Speed/7.5% Potency/Crit Bonus.. lol... My legendary ring has 151 str/sta/agi, 70% MA, 20% Atk Speed, 7.5% Potency/Crit Bonus. |

![]() In addition, I've been shown armor pieces that are purchasable by a faction merchant that are better than the armor that drops in the Hard Mode Instances. Seems rather backwards that doing a questline for a day to gain faction should yield better rewards than 6 people working together with some of the best gear in game taking down the suposedly "most challenging" group content in the game. What incentive does anyone have to run instances given this? Please address this issue and fix it asap. As it stands, I may just stop running instances completely and since that's all I do in game.. i don't see much of a drive to login. |

Another suggestion might be to do something like WoE gear where you loot a pattern or something and combine it with the faction armor to make a new piece... could even just let you combine the current HM armor with the faction set to serve this purpose. |

![]() Lyceum (Challenge) is generally supposed to fall above Covenant District (Challenge) in terms of difficulty, correct? As it stands now, the loot from Covenant District is significantly better. Most of the items from Challenge Mode Covenant District (including trash drops) bear 9.1 Potency and Crit Bonus, which other appropriately high green and blue stats. The items from Challenge Mode Lyceum on the other hand, while supposedly the more difficult of the two zones, typically only have 7.3 Potency and Crit Bonus, and other stats lower than both the Fabled (8.6) and Legendary items (7.5) that come from Contested Skyshrine. It would be great if the items from Challenge Lyceum could be brought at least up to par with the items from Challenge Covenant District. |

![]() Is there a chance that this gear being brought up to par is in the works? There was a hotfix a few weeks ago that stated some of the gear had been upgraded, but didn't specify which pieces. Bunji wrote: (Thursday, May 17th, 2012)
It does not appear that Lyceum's loot was included in that update. |

![]() This is really, really frustrating. Finally killed termagore the butcher on challenge mode only to be rewarded with a fabled necklace worse than ezmode. Literally was not an upgrade for anyone in group in its current state. Just repeating what the OP clearly showed with screenshots. Is it really that tiny a population of people that go in and attempt these challenge zones that this is such a low priority? Please fix this. |

![]() I don't know what the deal is with this loot. The procs are AWESOME but otherwise the stats are froogin terrible. Its like they put challenge procs on ezmode loot but then forgot about the rest of the stats. |

![]() BUMP. have Scout charm on my Main assassin. Amazing wild swings proc... ran HM lyc many many times to get it... but stats are soo dang dissapointing.. SONY PLEASE FIX THE DANG STATS. If I wasnt in a Raiding guild and able to get good loot to make up for the bad stats.. but was skilled enough to clear HM lyc... id be pretty mad about this.. oh wait.. i still am mad. Plz sony. stop messing around. fix the loot in THE HM ZONES. ty Laserbeak/home/Notenough |
