VOICE CHAT BUG IS BACK

THe bug is back and it is getting agravating. Some of my friends can get into my chat and others can't even if I re invite them. we get cannot find eq2.guk."nameofchat". and group VC is not working.

Its very annoying!

no guild voice, no group voice. restart game, I get guild back, or I can join a private voice channel, but I;ll be damned if I can have working access to more than once voice at a time.

I am having issues getting into group VC. I get the error that password is incorrect. First off I am group leader and have not set a password. Second it does not matter if I started the group or if someone else did. All that I have talked to have the same issues.

This problem has been very bad this past week.  It's really hard when your guild is so large and people are trying to talk "group" stuff over the guild stuff and it's just got people so annoyed that they are logging out all together. 40 or more people in guild voice at one time talking over eachother is just no fun.  We had to bring up a vent server for the guild so that people could use it for groups for now until the issue is resolved.  I've asked all members to put in bug reports for it so it gets some attention, I just wish it would get fixed.

Hello my friends! I'm sorry your having issues with your voice chat. I would recommend sending a support ticket so our tech team can being the troubleshooting process (to make sure this isn't a local issue). If we recieve a large amount of tickets with the same problem, then I will inform my superiors about this issue so they can possibly create a global fix for it.

It is a large issue.  I am on Freeport and most groups right now can't use group chat.  I don't even get a group chat channel on the selection lest when I am in a group.  This has been happening for the last couple days in many groups. 

Please fix this soon as it is really making game play difficult to the point of me thinking of playing alternative games.

ok it's gotten so bad now that my guildmates can't even see the little bubble light up in Guild chat much less hear me and I've lost all but the guild chat on my Main Alenna, on Guk. ranger. I also have that problem with only the opposite wiht another friend of mine he could hear me but I couldn't hear him or see the bubble.

GET THIS FIXED Grouping is nearly impossilble and I don't even want to think about what is oging to happen when we start raiding again. and if I can't get into my special channel how are my friends supposed to know I"m on when I"m on one of my little known toons. Please it is making game play unenjoyable if I wanted to play a solo game or a game where we couldn't communicate easily i'd be playing the facebook games.

how much more do you need to know to get someone to look into this.

I can confirm it, voice chat is not working since few days.

Speaking with friends is nearly impossible.

Do you seriously want all my friends to place a ticket for it?? It will be like 40 ppl atm. We can't connect to defult channels and we can't creat new once.

I can give logs like this since at least a week concerining all voice chat channels: guild, group, raid and default.

And it is not only me who has problem with Voice. ALL my friends from diffrent countries have it and complain about it so please fix it asap.

This is an issue on SOE's end, pull some resources from SC and maybe at least try to fix this.

With the masses having the same issues with voice chat, the troubleshooting guide you linked is not helpful at all.  Sorry, but I feel someone needs to notify Vivox to let them know their software is 'failing to connect' due to bugs either in EQ2 or noncompatibility of their software with the game since recent updates.  Our raid leader spent over an hour on Sunday spam inviting everyone into raid chat just so we could raid.  Trying to join raid voice gave an error message of 'invalid password', you can't even put a password on the raid voice channel (default).  Group voice was totally nonexistent.

I'm speaking of the Guk server.

Please fix this problem it is making it so very difficult to communicate .. I have 4 characters I play often and up until this past week have had no trouble with voice at all ..nowafter repeated attempts checking and unchecking enable voice chat enable auto join Ifor some reason 2 out of 4can use guild chat and other 2 are unable to join guild ,group,and private chat ..error message is ..Invalid password or access denied ...all of these characters use the same settings all were able to chat on any channel for past year ...I did nothing at all different either in game or on my computer to change any settings at all ...please look into this and fix it ASAP!!!

Unrest server is having the same problem.  Guildmates and friends alike.  Only channel I'm showing is Guild Officers, and can't even join it.  Not showing any custom channels, guild, group, nothing.  Not getting any voice invites, nothing.  After so many postings and petitions and tickets, you'd think they'd fix it.
