Any chance that Mercs will stick around while you zone?

I just picked up one of the Elite Mercs (MD) - zoned out to Jarsath Wastes and she didn't follow me. I had this happen with another merc in FP once too.

The other day I had both Archon Construct and Stamper in the same group and Archon both healed and cured far more.  Then again maybe he just reacted faster and/or overwrote reactives.

What are the classes of the other two constructs?

Another bug I assume they know about as it happens on occassion with all mercs.

You just have to resummon them.

GU notes tell you that they have a buff only available in the area.

Well, just spent 7 hours straight in Nek forest with tracking going in hopes of finding that healer merc, with no luck. Beginning to think they only spawn once a day at the most. Yeah I know they're special, but it's still pretty lame that the majority of people will only see these things when being towed along behind someone else who just happened to get lucky.

What's it been, 4-5 months since AoD? I've never seen anyone with Kenny, and only a couple of people with Matri, so yeah, that's just too rare considering how many people are on each server.

what drives me crazy is the elites are so rare and the normal ones dont have remotely enough crit chancefor skyshrine zones so they are almost useless

Not to mention they have so few HP, that if they get anywhere near a group of enemies they're obliterated by AOE.

Just right click him or his control window and track will be an option you can choose.

Hello all,

Whomever is wondering about the elite Mercs, they DO exist!! lol I put an image up where I hired Matri DUt. I got her on April 26,2012 between 2 and 3:30 PM CST On the Everfrost Server. She cost 30 plat to hire 3 plat every 30 min.

She has 75K ht pts

300% CC

250 % CB

Be aware though, even with ammends, it is difficult to keep agg off of her.

After going against Gninja's statement of it being unlikely that anyone could camp elites, I decided to camp the one reported spawn for Kenny in Nektulos Forest. After about 8 hours of off and on sessions, he finally spawned at -335.84, -2.09, 37.05, right beside the skull-adorned stone structure amidst all the spiders.

I'm mixed on his performance, though. He can take a hit like no one's business with nearly 80k hp, and does nice dps (crits of at least 45k and flurries) for a healer merc, but doesn't seem to heal all that great. He never cures, unfortunately, but that's not so bad since I carry my own potions. I tended to let Stamper stand back and play support rather than fight, but Kenny won't cast some of his buffs, like the bolster, unless he's attacking, so I'm always fighting him for aggro with my necro pet when soloing, hehe.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with him since he can easilly survive things that would flatten Stamper, and when he's attacking, everything dies noticeably faster. I may trade him up for Perrin eventually so I can give him a whirl, should I ever happen upon him.

People are camping em. Almost every person that has reportedly found Matri has done so in SBH and the 2 screenshots on these forums even shows her at the exact same spot. Far as Kenny goes i thought he may have multiple spawns as i haven't heard much but everyone has reported finding him at the exact same spot in Nek and as of today i managed to only see him as he spawned apparently AFTER i left the spot right after the server was back up. Really ticked me off they delayed the spawn by about 5mins after server patch causing me to leave to chack Matri, come back and some scrub gets em....

Point being is they are totally camp'able and looking like not soo rare as timers have been cut drastically. Just don't know why ZAM removed their spawn points. If anyone cares to replace thewaypoints their or eqwiki or even here.

HiGninja, I am glad that you always used to us, but I would like to ask you something in terms of the game.I'm doing today, even the elite mercenary. Is not there a way to instantiate the elite mercenary? I mean with the regular mercenaries you have done this, see the recovery, native to the bar!Why are you creating for us this competitive society? I mean, we like to play EQ2 and do the most loyal players with many for 7 years. Everyone wants to achieve after all and that's perfectly understandable, but their economic situations for us, where many are angry and some left the game for that reason. This must not be.It will be challenging to find an elite mercenary, we only take me, I'm looking for 4-5 weeks every day for hours in the zones as an elite mercenaries with a track from the ranger merc. But unfortunately it was not granted me to find one elite merc. I have at least invested well over 50-60 hours and nothing, so I write to you to something here. It's actually been severe enough that the mercenaries are so expensive!To me it seems so as if the spawn rate on the german servers, much less how to others. But I'm pretty sure it the same program.But I find it very frustrating day trying to find such a mercenary as I lot with small groups of 2-3 people or just a business, as the community increasingly degraded by the f2p. But then again not just once found elite mercenaries who would eventually extend to complete the Skyshrine zones with 3 people.Rare is ok I like, but have since their time off 4 years ago the "check" on the / hail npc command, we are looking for hours into zones according to mobs, where none of the spawn timer knows and which are usually not there are. See the release opportunities, which are displayed with an incorrect % for 3 years? In order to track it so we need the correct name? Supposedly there's an elite assassin on the bellybumper bone field!? It exists and what is this?Would be nice if you care because sometimes drum or I / we would to write something.

F2P players are good for your stats, the only real players get nothing at all!

Same thing happens to the new Skyshrine golem mercs.  If you dismiss them they do not appear in the pub.

Ok, I thought collecting these mercs meant that you would ALWAYS be able to access those mercs from the pub afterwards. Sounds like a bug to me!

Well, it's honestly ridiculous given the amount of coin they expect you to pay for it. For that amount, elites should stay available through your Merc tab as an alternate option from your currently hired merc!

Heres a customer service anouncment(since SOE seems its not that important for people to know I'll post it).. Elite mercenaries are working as intended. They are meant to be very rare, and very costly. If you would like to make use of the mercenary again, you will need to locate and hire him again. So don't dismiss them they're not gonna be in the pub when you go looking.

Yeah then they sent me links back to this post like it had the info I needed the whole time lol.They must be outsourcing their CS to china or pakistan I guess.
