That's what I'm betting on. Basically the balancing for the discrepancy beastlords have brought. I'm just hoping it doesn't have more melee stuff for rangers. |

![]() A guy on another forum said it better than me: "Oh snap we tied AAs to AoD which is meant to be optional features! What will we do? Errr Errr Errr Errr class talents!" AAs but not AAs. |

![]() My speculation is that it'll be for house decorating and dungeon maker. Also, didn't we already pay for features like this with AoD? So we're buying features in expansions now....and then getting all the crap they didn't finish for the expansion for "Free" along with content? And wait...not actual content of all levels, but some instances that you can play either solo, heroic, or raid. Give me a break.

I'll keep that in mind for future updates, but Prestige Points are basically Alternate Advancements that you earn automatically as you level. Details coming later this week. We're hoping to have a lot of people on test over the next month, and I think our community team is even working on some rewards for players who are able to make it over there. To update your Test Client in Launchpad 4, click on the tools icon in your normal live launcher -> Select Game Version -> Public Test -> Apply. Looking forward to seeing what you guys think!

Seems interesting. As to the Savagery for all classes, I'd have to vote against that. I like the way most classes work now, Beastlords are a cool, different class and I don't think making a big change to every class would be a good idea. |

![]() For this update please consider decreasing all XP gain inside instances by 75% on Nagafen server only and increasing XP gain of the overland quests by a nominal 5% to encourage open world questing/hunting and discourage hiding in instances grinding out the extra few lvls.

It wouldn't be savagery, but abilities that become active for short windows based upon whatever criteria. Predators already have exploit weakness, which is much harder to use since it is text based rather than an icon that lights up. Part of the point is that Beastlords are way more powerful than anything else in large part due to savagery and a similar set of abilities for everyone else might level the playing field. |

I never played EQ1, but from what I understand, the AAs in that game are infinite. It would be nice to get some kind of separate AA system to the one we have, which has this too. That way people who are dedicated to their main chars will get more powerful and have something to do when they are "capped".Even if it's just small increases like 10 AA for 0.1% crit chance or something like that, it will make you feel you are accomplishing something. Would add a lot of depth. |

Not infinate, but yeah I agree. If we were just given hundreds of a new sort of aa then people wouldn't be running around with a ton of pointless alts, and could focus on their main or their (single) alt. Or use the same aa tree, but allow it to only be unlocked at level 92 or 300 aa spent. There has not been much to do in this game in awhile, and if these updates are going to be so spread apart something in game needs to be given to keep people willing to log in. |

That would be awful. The constant "Not enough savagery" on every character would be extremely frustrating. It's good to see that Xelgad has confirmed that the prestige points are simply super-AAs. |

As you level from when? From level 90? If from sooner, does that mean that those at level 90 will automatically be given points for logging in? Is Prestige just a new tab like Heroic? Or something different? |

I would expect the points are locked to level as in you get 1 point each level and players end up with the points based on their current level. If this turns out to be the case I would also expect to see mostly enhancements to current abilities with a few new abilities thrown in. It will be interesting to see if it ends up being like the SWTOR system where you specialized your class a bit more depending on the tree you filled with your points or if it's just a single tree system. If the current 90's have to grind out the points I suspect alot of the casuals will be here whining about all the raiders clearing every possible spawn as fast as possible in every zone (as well as many doing chronomage grinding in lower level zones). |

This as well as EM/HM options have always seemed like a poor method to add additional content. I had the most fun with RoK raiding and even TSO was better than the current system because raiders progressed thru the easy fights first, then got upgrades to take down the next target and kept building on the previous kills. Previous expansions were also much more fun than current raid content. The EM/HM versions just seemed more boring it was like "ok, you know this fight in EM, now add harder hitting aoe attacks, [insert HM fail mechanic here] and that's the HM version". |

![]() Whatever they end up being, I pray they're passive abilities. Playing EQ2 is like playing "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: The Game" as is. We really don't need more buttons to click. |

You know 90s won't automatically get anything. This will totally screw casuals, yet again. it will be exactly the same as adding AA when people where at max level without xp conversion and casuals were just totally screwed. |
