Has the "remember me" feature been removed from the login page?I can't seem to find it anymore and it's really annoying to have to login manually each time I turn my computer on, or just close my web browser. On a side note, I am disappointed there still aren't any patch notes in the client loader after all this time. What's happened with all the design choices lately?

Was just about to ask this.

Bloody annoying having to log back in every single freaking morning. I don't reboot my PC unless I have to but I do close my browser at night.

From what I have heard, it is a security measure that they are implementing.  We shall see how it is when it is complete.

This.

Also the remember me feature is something entirely different than the session cookie that prevented us from being logged out while browsers remained open.

I wonder if the removal of the link that allowed us to sign into our account to view subscription info, submit/view petitions etc. was also part of this security measure.

I also wonder many things other than these that I'll refrain from expressing because it would most certainly end up in getting a forum ban.

They have succeeding in making it impossible for us to stay logged into the game with all the zone server timeouts when zoning now they have made the forums even more difficult to use. One thing for sure next week the SC shop will have some new items, you can make book on that.

Yeah this is rather annoying. I now have to log in everytime I visit the forums and if I keep them up in the background while playing I have to log back in on a regular basis.

While more secure this makes for a tedious browsing experience. I don't need a cookie which works for a week or even a month. However, at a minimum, I think we would benefit from a cookie that works for the day.  My copper on the topic.

What's even more annoying about it is that the fields they've chosen aren't recognized as username/password fields by the most common browsers, so the browser password store and auto-fill don't work either.

Why wasn't this fixed into today's patch?

The patches for the game are not the same as for the forum...Two completely different things.Still annoying though.

No, it is an annoyance measure.

Sure, force a log in when we go to the account page, that would give us extra security.  Make an authenticator mandatory for account features.. THAT Would give us extra security..

But timing out our login on the forums, where we aren't dealing with super sekret account infoz is nothing more than an annoyance to the customers, without significantly increasing security.

QFE. This change is very, very silly.

Not only did they break the cookies but Web Dev 101 dictates that when you sign it after completion you are returned to the referring URL, now when you log in that no longer happens.

It is a circus act of amateurs.
