![]() I think a nice feature to implement into tradeskilling is after you reach a certain point, you only have to do a single line of button mashing when making items underneath your skill level. So let's say as a 90 sage i am making a level 30 spell for someone, instead of the four lines as we have now, make it one and cut some time out. |

It's already really easy to do the trivial (grey) recipes. They do take significantly less time than on level recipes.

That was nice, but everything that went along with it made it a total bear. People complain about harvesting taking too long in EQ2. They would die in EQ1, where you HAVE to adventure for many hours, competing with others to get what you need to make items. Even then, the RNG could still be very unkind and decide 30 or 40 combines will get you 1 whole skill-up, if any. |

Or spend a year, un-countable combines (costing lots of adventuring and plat) to get even one skill-up. Almost a decade later and I am -still- bitter about being stuck in Fletching. *laugh* |

![]() I am not talking about taking the exact model frmo eq1, just streamlinging down the eq2 version. So you button mash one line and that's it. I would be all for dire consequences for failure to keep a little skill in it. I remember back in the day people dying from tradeskill misses, would like to see it again. It would teach me to watch hockey and make stuff at the same time |

Had you ever gotten into their latest version of research? Single most awful change to tradeskilling in any game ever. |
