In EverQuest II, we are currently celebrating Frostfell; and for twelve days of Frostfell, as part of the celebration we're picking one top selling item per day and putting it on sale at a huge discount for that one day only. The items will change over around 10-11am (pacific time) each morning from now until the 24th of December. Be sure to check in each day to see what's on sale. On this eleventh day of Frostfell, the Ogre Heritage Armor is on sale today for only 750 SC. You don't have to be an ogre to look good in this set -- but you CAN be an ogre if you want, since the cloak includes an activatable ogre illusion! (Random trivia - despite my halfling signature on the forums, I actually play more ogre characters than halflings on my real play accounts. Ogres are sexah! Go to the "sale" tab in the marketplace to find it; only till tomorrow morning, so don't miss it! And check back tomorrow for the very last sale item of the 12 days. It's a pretty one! ok, I guess I hold out hope for another day on my free char xfer token. Wouldnt it rock if a dev actually responded to a forum post, at least to let me know that I am hoping for something that wont happen so I can stop lookin at these daily posts of absolute garbage?

You do not need a developer to answer that question, I can do it for you. There will not be a free character transfer token noted in these sale threads. Something like that will come as a specific announcement on it's own. As well, historically, they were not provided free for server merges, the last time I remembered any free transfers was years ago to decrease population, not to mollify players that had low activity servers merged. |

I'd settle for being able to get a Transfer Token on in the Marketplace period... Not..if you buy $25 more station cash and give us the card numbers we'll do it.. I don't like the fact that their "problem" costs me more for a transfer.. |

I am just curious. Are there really a lot of people buying these "fluff" items? I mean, it's supposed to be a celebration of a holiday, shouldn't it target a majority of the players, not a minority? |

Well, the x3 SC was nice, but then again, it wasn't an EQ2 thing, it was a SOE thing, so doesn't really fit into this discussion... |
