Is there a way for Silver players to choose which 4 character slots they play?

Looking at the Silver benefits it says we get 4 character slots. As a subscriber we had 7. Now many of the returning players are going to have characters that are locked out due to class/race restirictions. Is there a way to pick which characters to use our 4 slots? So we can play characters that fit restirictions? And if not, what does this mean for people who choose to buy a fifth character slot. Will they end up wasting that slot on a character they can't even play?

from what i've heard ingame in chat this is a big issue for alot of people. im a subscriber, however, i think SoE would be making a big mistake if they did not allow returning vets to at least choose 2 if not 4 of their original characters to play on, and *without* having to purchase class/race packs.

Nope, if you're not gold I have no idea how they pick but I can't get to ones that qualify for free, maybe because they are newer, not sure.

Is there a way to at least tell which of my locked characters are in the Silver character slots? I currently have 7 characters I made when I was a subscriber. When EQ Extended was launched I made two characters. So I currently have 9 character slots. The two EQ Extended characters I made on Freeport are unlocked and able to play. Which means 2 of my 7 old characters are silver. However there is no indication which of them it is. How does SOE expect people to spend money to unlock character class and race if there is no idication which character we can actualy play.

I believe it is the last one played that is unlocked.. ect.. ect..

However there have been people that petitioned in the past to have their chars arranged in an order in which to get the ones they want unlocked.

Personally i think the easier thing would be to implement a system where you click the Lock Icon and it asks you to pay the 1000SC for that char.

So I guess that means the last four characters in my character screen are the four slots I have . I'll have to petition then. I have one old toon that is eligible for race/class combos and I couldn't care less about the two toons on Freeport.
