So why does the play button work then and why does server status page say it is all up?? why is it that i always have to find this information from the forums and then recent topics never have it so i have to go hunting for it, please can i have a working server status page at the very least or some where i can bookmark which always give current information on down times rather then hunting for the information on forums

facebook? FACEBOOK????? what on earth does facebook have anything to do with everquest2??? am i really ment to think facebook when i want info on eq2? this sort on info should be easly availible without having to ask for directions to it but to find it on a site that has nothing to do with eq2 just blows my mind, who came up with that bright idea?? but thanks anyways, yet another site to add to my bookmarks, why sony/soe have to have so many websites and forums and then have to use someone elses websites to inform customers i will never understand

I agree, I hate having to search forums and facebook and twitter and twitch and all the other places information seems to scatter to, but this time  I hardly think

Official News and Announcements Downtime thread about the launch of a new expansion that has been talked about for ages should be considered a search hehe

/smile I believe that section is right on top no searching involved.

Under Official Announcments. That's where I got my info. (never really trusted the server status page in any MMO until a few hours after the fact).

You can check out the general server status page at www.soe.com/status

If you are so inclined, there is also a iPhone app in the App Store called "SOE Status" (not written by SOE though).
