A few questions

I just started playing EQ2 and i'm really liking it although, as i hit level 20, i realise i know little about the game. Who is my enemy in this game? its not like WOW with alliance and horde, so who does the pvp'ing? where do i find all this beginner info?

/chuckle where to begin. There are many places to get information about the game most of which are in the many threads of this website. Though most servers in EQ2 are PvE there are a few serveres yet that are for PvP. I think that it's PvPvE but don't quote me on it. Also if your into PvP you might want ot look into the "Battle Grounds" area. There you PvP against people from all the servers. As for your "enemy" there are way to many in the game to mention them all (Rallos Zek, Keraphym, Darthar, Byzola, Gynok to name just a couple (not sure on spelling). For a well rounded idea about who the enemy is or why you do quests & things, check out the Lore section of the forums. They very informative & give better insite as to what you are killing in game and why. Plus they make for excelent reading. Signitures & Heritage quests give you excelent main story lines to work with. You also have factions you can get weather it's good or evil faction. There is so much information & game content in EQ2 it would take many pages to tell/explain it all. Best thing I can suggest is just read the different forums on this site. If you like trash talk & trolling & other helpful info about the game you can also check out EQ2flames.com (no offence to those that post on Flames there is useful info there, but I've found better info about things here).
