I am new to the homeshow forums and decorating.

I would like to see what everyone thought of my first published house.

Oasis server. Small Homes.

"My Father's Workshop"

It was designed with my father in mind shortly after he passed away.

Thank you.

If you could manage to - it would be great to have a couple of screenshots of your house posted on this forum, so that those of us who are on other servers (and might not have a spare char slot) can view it.

I'd like to see it, and offer you comiserations for your father's passing.

Ah ... I didn't think about that ... Thank you ... Here is what I did to the Personal Dojo to make it "My Father's Workshop"

In the event that the pictures don't post, they can all be found here ...

I really like that.  It effectively gives a whole different feel to the dojo base and turns it into a very vivid and believable workshop.  It really gives the impression that it's for everyday use rather than just a showpiece.

Bravo!  and thanks for showing it SMILEY

What a wonderful job! I love your fans with lights throughout and how there's a little are to get cleaned up after working on the forge. Such nice touches in each of the spaces. I wouldn't have thought at all you were new to decorating if you hadn't said it SMILEY

This is great!  What a cozy, lived-in place.  Great tribute to your father. SMILEY

I love it!  All the little touches that make it look like a real workshop such as the stack of wood by the woodworking table.   I'm sorry to hear about your father.   This is a nice tribute to him.

Very nice workshop, especially for a new decorator. I like that you kept things simple and homey
