![]() Tried LP3, same result, no patch. It's really great, that you patch servers and make everything running for the US, where it's 10 am and everyone is at work, while here it's 7 pm, people want to play and you can't even patch the game. |

It started a patch of around 9mb, after that a big patch started with message it will update while playing. Pressing play button will give the above mentioned reject message after a bit. Relogging and restarting launcher does not seem te restart patch. |

![]() I'm using the latest streaming patcher, and it downloads nothing. It just tells me I can play the game, which is obviously false. I receive the error: Login rejected:The client's version does not match the server's. Please re-run the patcher. For information, I play on french server Storms. |

![]() Newest version of Launch Pad 3 (full) and the same problem. The LP doesn't patch and the game says that I've the wrong version. Server Valor (german language) Edit: Saw just the posting of Joshua that the EU-Servers are not up. It's a bit confusing because a bit earlier it was not possible to log in, but now you can. |

![]() i have patched like 0.2 gig with the patcher i downloaded in page 2, then i still get the msg that i am using the wrong version but if the EU servers are still down then i would rather prefer to see at least the right error msg lol |

However, when I start the game - it says "initialising" then goes straight to Play without downloading anything. The patcher was working fine before today - so I'm assuming it has something to do with the fact the EU servers are still not up, rather than a problem with my launcher??

![]() The EU servers are still being updated, this is done separately than the update being pushed to the US servers so it is simply not just waiting for the server to come back up. We are still mid-process with EU. I'll update as soon as more information becomes available.

![]() What a load of crap this update system is, Turn off firewalls, run as administrator, do i have to do strange handshakes with my left trouser leg rolled up as well. I tried all the above post methods, and still no work. This is what i have done. 1. Ran the new launcer link http://launch.soe.com/eq2 2. Tried selecting the 12.4gb full dowload, this downloads a small launcher file. 3. I run the file as administrator with firewall and trouser leg rolled up. 4. I get asked to do a full install or repair, i choose repair, it does a few bits and starts the game, the game is not patched and i get the same error message about my client don't match. 5. I delete the entire game and reboot pc, run the little launcher file as admin with no firewall and both trouser legs rolled up and select full install. 6. The bag of crap launcher still says client don't match. I left this game a few years ago because of the pathetic update system, no other mmporg i have played has this kind of failure. Come on SOE, sort this once and for all. I can see my WOW account being reactivated at this rate.

![]() Yes i am on splitpaw. Let me get this straight. All servers are up and ready for logins to patch. I do all the work required. You then say Splitpaw is not up. Despite your system saying it is up as i have just checked.

![]() That's correct. I do apologize for the inconvenience but the update is taking longer than expected. Server is up, which is what the status page relies on, but access to it is still locked at this time.

![]() Funny story here, just the other day i filled in a customer satisfaction survey with SOE regarding EQ2. I happened to mention that it would be really great if they stopped treating that small area of the planet that isn't the good ole US of A as if they were annoying blips on the radar rather than paying customers. Good to see my notes were taken on board so swiftly! |

![]() I think you get a huge patch if you swap to US and then back (as the server is reversing you back to an earlier version?). Most of the people in my guild who haven't patched to US get like a 5MB patch. I have two EQ2 directories (1 for US, 1 for EU - well 3 if you count Testserver), and the EU one is lacking a lot of stuff. |

This just goes to show that SOE are absolute useless at doing anything resembling correct. They can't fix all servers at the same time, USA then EU when they can be bothered. They can't make a patch that actually works without some kind of voodoo witchcraft and sacrificing the neighbours cat. The system lies as it says servers are working when they obviously are not. Customer satisfaction is not guaranteed as they don't really care as long as you live in the EU. I played EQ2 from the start and i accepted that problems would arise with a new game, that was 7 years ago, come on, you have had all the time you need to stop this crap from happening, it's not difficult, ask Blizzard. SOE rating out of 10..... not even good enough for a 0 I can see me closing my account and going to a game that actually works.

SMOKEJ just replied in the war of zek feedback thread with: 1) The EU servers are being updated and will be unlocked as soon as that update completes. It is taking longer than it should due to some communication issues with the servers in Amsterdam. Can we all petition for the "Communication Issues" to get hotfixed next. Y'know those issues they have communicating with Amsterdam every time.

![]() right despite me choosing eu english the launcher patched to us english. I've restarted it but now as eu english but it says 1.7gb download needed. Should I do this or is it Splitpaw showing as still not patched
