yep, cant even see the ring inside gorowyn...

to describe it more :

Flew down from the top of gorowyn, got near the bottom, still seeing no ring. Then being warped outside, and flying through the goal line, where nothing happend.

Tried flying back inside, and could not locate any ring at all in flying around there.

It does indeed appear that one of the aether race hoops has malfunctioned catastrophically over Gorowyn.  The gnomish race organizers have been put to work on repairs; in the mean time the Gorowyn aether race will be postponed.  We'll keep you updated on the rescheduling.

The Gorowyn city festival remains in full swing however, and the fireworks festival and marketplace sale are expected to begin later today.

The race works fine on Spiltpaw as far as the rings updating goes, the issue i have is that it is soooooo incredibly slow.

There are probably only 3-4 speed clouds through the entire course. And a single whirlwind as you go under the broken bridge. Fastest time on Splitpaw so far is 331 seconds.

Is that really right? This course as it is currently has to be the most boring course.

The speed boost clouds seem to be non existent, on Unrest at least.  I am watching my kid run the race on the extended server and there are clouds everywhere.

Yea I can confirm that on Unrest, there are only a handful of clouds appearing throughout the entire flight, I didnt even see one until nearly halfway through the course, and from there I'd maybe saw 4 or 5 total.  It's painfully slow with no speed boost clouds.

Is there a title on this one for a good run, and is the time for it reasonable? There are plenty of speed-up clouds showing on Oasis, but since last race the time was set for clouds that didn't make it into the game and had to be adjusted for a title, I don't want to try to run it for an unachievable (or nonexistent) title. And if some servers are not even getting speed-boost clouds then the title would be even more unachievable for them!

I've checked on Unrest and it looks as if all the speed boost clouds are there, except of course the blue ones if someone's already snagged 'em.  You might want to check again.

Yea they are definately there now, but this was not the case earlier!  It wasn't just the green clouds but blue ones were absent too.  Works fine now, though, but it was really painful flying this course earlier today.

Is it just me or is there an intended Feign Death at the end of the race?  It confused the heck out of me and I thought I was bugged - I actually contacted a GM.

Please get rid of that feign death after passing through the final ring! The icon to cancel it did not show up for me until after being CoVed, pulled into an empty instance and dueled to the death. This mechanic (which hopefully was NOT intended) only causes enormous frustration and confusion (granted it got some laughs out of my guild leader, but certainly not from myself).

I think the feign death is to prevent people without safe fall from dying. My 50s Bruiser got a safe fall point when she hit the dock "feigned". It was a bit confusing to see that happen, but if that's the reason why I'm guessing being feigned is preferable. SMILEY

How many people are getting the title on this one? On AB, only 5-6 of the last 50 runs got under 244. If it's intended for only the best racers to get the title, fine, but it's been said that it was intended for "most" to get it. Just like the New Halas race, the time set wasn't "most". Please consider raising the time on these so more people can get the title.

I've had no issue getting the title but by looking at the leaderboard not even everyone in the top 20 on my server have gotten it at this point. I think many people might just be getting confused with where the rings are in a lot of places and that could account for the bad race times.

Once I got familiar with it this course seemed easier then the Commonlands and New Halas ones. I do realize not everyone will agree with that, however.

... and avoid those bat clouds, they're NASTY!
