![]() Hi all, My apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find any info on it. With TV, it states that the range is 20 meters. Does that mean the person I am giving my avoidance to needs to be within 20 meters of me to receive the extra avoidance? Or is that just the range I have to cast it on someone? I was under the impression that TV worked regardless of distance as long as myself and my target are in the same zone. My raid MT and I are trying to figure this out. Thanks, Dubro |

I have never tested it, but they I understand it it is only with in the 20 M range. I will have to check my act logs next time i am away from my MT for a full fight.

As a follow up, does only the blocking not work then, or does the buff drop off entirely? Does the 5% riposte gained by the target remain even if out of range?

![]() The riposte chance given from the focus works and the avoidance gained from casting the buff work much further then 20m. (likely across the entire zone). The avoidance you give to the target only works UNDER 20m and you can not be feigned. Furthermore if you are facing the target you CAN riposte on a successful parry. You do not transfer base avoidance either in example MISS, just stuff like block/deflection, parry, dodge % if you have it from food/drink, riposte %, etc. |

![]() In ACT you can track how much your avoidance buff is helping another tank. Right click on the tank's name under an encounter and click "avoidance report" and you can see how many blows you've avoided for them. |
