Freeblood character slot

Ok, so I have all my character slots filled(regular account). I am going to claim my freeblood. When I claim this will this give me an extra chaaracter slot for that freeblood or will I have to delete a toon? Reason I ask is becuase my wifes account now has 13 character slots, the lsat of which, she used for her vampire when she claimed her freeblood reward for the expansion. She did NOT buy an extra character slot with SC.

Doh! Pretty sure you need to delete a toon or buy a slot if you are full on characters. I tried it and could not. Now I am trying to figure out if I want to toss a toon to try it out.

Another option you have, instead of deleting a character, is use a “change race” token. I didn’t have an open character slot either so I just purchased a “change race” token and changed one of my existing toons into a Freeblood.

Just to clarify, since you've not used it yet and may or may not know, the freeblood claim item you get is not 1 freeblood character. It unlocks the freeblood race for your account. After you claim it anytime you ever roll a new character or race change freeblood will be an option, the same way you can choose halfling or dark elf.

If you use it and want to create a new freeblood right away you'd need a free character slot.
