3 days in a row and counting . . . .

For the love of god please just give everyone on Everfrost free xfer tokens for all their toons so the entire server can move someone else.  And if our server stays down for hours during prime time today we better get a [Removed for Content] extra day of bonus XP for our server.  This crap is getting bleeping ridiculous.

This is ridiculous. I know you red names are opposed to ever telling us anything, but how about denying or confirming whether the players of Everfrost will get any compensation of any [Removed for Content] kind for losing and hour or more of playing time every day this week and the whole day of world first discos on release day...Man up and say something instead of leaving your paying customers bitter. Quit blaming these issues on anything but your crappy hardware. Quit telling people to do things with their settings. Quit avoiding the subject of why our server is the only one doing this crap. It's been annoying since the merge that we've been plagued by horrible lag issues in public zones and instances, but this past week has simply been too much. Can the cookie cutter responses of "We know there are issues and we are working on them." People are not stupid. If you tell us what is going on instead of treating us like children we'd probably gripe a heck of a lot less because we'd understand what you're dealing with. I know you guys seem to have a longstanding record of either ignoring or deleting statements that make you uncomfortable to answer for whatever reason, but ya know what? We do pay your [Removed for Content] bills. We deserve to know what the hell is going on with the entertainment we're paying for. If I pay 50 bucks to go see a concert and someone comes down sick, or their [Removed for Content] tour bus wrecks, some dude comes on stage and lets us know what the hell is going on. It'd be nice if you guys would show us the same courtesy.

Perhaps a pattern with peak loads and crashing? Issues start a few hours before with minor things - NPCs taking awhile to pop up around you, spells start lagging, broker starts lagging, zoning starts taking longer, etc. The longer it goes on, the worse the problems get. Once zoning starts taking upwards of 2 minutes, a crash is imminent. Time from when I first noticed issues to when servers crash: 2-3 hours. This is at least the 3rd night in a row I've observed the same pattern.

They could just come off some [Removed for Content] money and get new server hardware for us people they forced to move from servers that didn't crash every [Removed for Content] night. Bitter? Yes I am.

hrm...well, the last several times when EF has crashed, I have just been reading official forums and waiting for an update...my outlook is changing though. After SOE's treatment of the players on Everfrost, I think I am going back to a NCSoft game. I won't make a big deal on the forums or threaten to leave...my wife and I will just walk away from 7 years of a paid subscriptions... I think unless something changes soon, I think other people will be doing the same. I love EQ2, thats why I have been paying to play it for all these years, but this is getting to be a bit much for me. If SOE fixes our server in a week and offers XP potions or a EF only Double AA and XP for a day or more as compensation, I will most likely forget moving on, but for right now, I am considering going back to L2...cause even though its a grind, at least I can play it.

We're working on getting the server back online. I also just posted notice about maintenance in the morning.

8:26pm EST, EF crashes yet again. Best of luck to the technical team working to restore service as quickly as possible.

Extension of the double XP would be nice given the inopportune timing of the outage.  SMILEY
